My eyes widened at what Ace said. "What did you just say?" He looked at me seriously, with no hint of a joke. I was suddenly confused.
I couldn't remember anything like that. I just chatted with the bartender, and he even gave me some advice, right?
"You kissed that bartender, Keycee. Right in front of my eyes." I immediately stood up and looked at him. This didn't seem like a good joke.
"That's not true, hubby—"
"Don't 'hubby' me, Keycee." I was so embarrassed by his interruption that I couldn't say anything more. He stood up too, and we were now sitting face to face. "I never thought you could do that to me. And when you handed him my card to pay for your drink, you offered him a car in exchange for a one-night stand." I frowned and started to think.
