AFTER my morning shift, I quickly changed into my uniform and headed to school. Marian and Jezza were already inside the classroom when I arrived.
"Have you been here long?" I asked as I approached them, but they were too engrossed in their conversation to notice me. Feeling exhausted, I decided not to repeat myself. I rested my head on my desk, hoping to catch a nap before our professor arrived.
I was carrying a tray of food to deliver to a customer when someone bumped into me, causing me to trip. To make matters worse, I spilled the food all over the woman who had ordered it, and she became furious.
"My gosh! Are you blind?! Look at what you did to me!" she yelled, angrily brushing off the food from her clothes.
