"Who will witness this union?" I inquired as we prepared to begin the mating ritual.
"We will perform the ritual privately for now, until our wildness and your heat are less of a concern," Caspian replied, completing the final preparations.
I nodded, clicking my tongue in thought.
"However, if you desire a more elaborate ceremony," Asher began, but I interrupted, shaking my head.
"No, a large ceremony isn't what I want. I simply feel there should be witnesses, perhaps family..." I trailed off with a slight shrug. "It's not important." I dismissed the thought with a wave of my hand.
Meredith was the only family I had. Consequently, I felt she should be present during the mating. The Ragnar brothers, too, must have family members who should be privy to this significant occasion.
