Kaida "That reminds me." I clapped my hands as Richard brought the car to a halt. I recalled the conversation Caspian had promised to share during the picnic, a discussion we had neglected amidst all the merriment. All the men in the car turned to look at me. Kai and Richard glanced through the rearview mirror from the front seat, while Asher and Caspian, seated beside me, swiveled their heads in my direction. "What about?" Caspian asked, curiosity piqued. I raised a pinky finger at him. "Your promise? Feedback from Elara, remember?" Caspian's expression shifted, and I suspected he had intentionally diverted my attention from that conversation, distracting me with all the fun we had shared at the picnic.
