Everything had been going fine, better than I had planned, well that was until my brother came to ruin everything by taking the spotlight off me.
Somehow people had forgotten about my bold decision to take Iris to the party and now everyone was talking about Aiden’s bold and audacious threat and they all saw me as the shocked and scared little brother who was afraid of him.
I had spoken to my father earlier and our discussion ended up in a heated argument as he didn't fail to remind me how much of a failure I was to him and our pack.
As for my mother, she was more understanding and even came back at night to check up on me.
Of course, she was worried sick and scared about what was going to happen but at least, her presence was much appreciated by me.
