IRIS POV
I woke up early today.
The first thing I noticed was that my back hurt like hell and although my leg had fully healed, the pain was still excruciating.
But despite all these, what affected me the most was the fact that I was alone on the bed and from the look of things it appeared that he never slept beside me last night.
To confirm my suspicions, I heard soft voices coming from the bathroom and curiosity led me to get out of bed and tiptoe to the bathroom door.
On getting there, I placed my ear on the door and then I heard the voices again.
It was Aiden and Callista, laughing and chatting excitedly.
My heart tightened and the air suddenly became thin.
This was so unfair. How could the one guy I loved be fated to someone else?
