The Samurai

The Samurai part 2 episode 4 Protecting The Ones You Love.

Renji finally makes it to the house.

Kenshin and Touka hurry behind him.

He storms over to the door but before he can knock A Demon appears.

It's another snake like Demon but this one has arms and also wings.

It looks more like some kind of dragon!

The Demon swats Renji with its tail then flies upward into the sky.

Renji hurls his weighted end of his kusarisama at the Demon wrapping around its tail.

He is lifted up into the sky.

As the Demon flies higher Renji climbs up his chain.

He finally reaches the Demon.

He jumps onto the Demons back and slashes into one of the Demons wings.

The Demon begins to fall with Renji still on its back.

Several feet above the ground Renji kicks himself off of the Demon jumping upward while twirling his sickle.

Frozen Sword Blade!

Renji calls out the name of his attack as he throws his sickle up then pulls it back down creating a large ice blade resembling a sword blade.

The blade cuts off the Demons tail and Renji lands on the ground.

The Demon flicks its cut tail at Renji splashing the rotted blood all over Renji

-Disgusting, Renji shouts!

He wipes the blood from his face and when he looks up he sees the Demons tail mutate into a large pincher like appendage.

Shit!

Renji shouts.

There's no time to evade.

Splat! Splat!

Something hits him in the face so he opens his eyes.

Touka stands in front of Renji with both of her arms caught in the Demons pinchers.

She's screams out in pain and the blood flows out of her arms.

TOUKA!

Kenshin shouts out!

His eyes blaze into white flames and the sound of birds chirping rings through the air.

Kenshin suddenly vanishes from where he once stood.

Renji looks in amazement.

-Wha, where did he....

Up above!

Renji spots Kenshin in the air high above the Demon.

"How, how did he get so high?" Renji questions himself in his mind.

Kenshin flies through the air the electricity and power radiates from his body flickering all around him.

He comes to a sudden stop then points himself downward.

He starts to descend really fast and while he does he unsheathes his sword.

The wind forms around the blade of his sword creating a powerful energy that envelopes his sword trailing around it like a smokey vapor.

Right before he swings his sword cutting downward the wind envelopes in electricity increasing the length of the sword.

The swirling wind and electricity around the blade trails the air following Kenshin.

Kenshin hits the Demon and as he does all of the energy converges into the point of impact creating a huge slicing blast wave that cleaves through the Demon while frying it.

Once again the sheer power of Kenshins attack scars the very earth itself.

Wind Scar!

Kenshin calls out the name of his attack.

The Demon crumbles away releasing Touka from its grasp.

She falls down to her knees.

Renji quickly catches her.

-Why, why did you?

Why did you save me, especially after me yelling and treating you like that!

Renji ask as he looks at the badly injured Touka.

-Why risk getting yourself hurt for an ungrateful selfish i***t like m...

Touka puts her bloody hand on Renjis face and smiles.

-Yo, Your right Renji.

I don't know what it's like.

I haven't lost anything.

So I don't know the pain you feel.

I can't understand the rage and hatred you feel for having your loved ones stolen from you.

And even still.

I can't bear the thought of los...

I don't want to ever know what it's like to lose you.

Your like the little brother I was never able to have being brought up as a ninja.

I don't know what it's like.

But!

I don't ever want to know what its like either.

So it doesn't matter if your mad at me.

I'll always protect you because I never want to know what it feels like to lose something or someone I care about.

I will always lay my life on the line when it comes to both you and Kenshin because you are both so very, very dear to me.

Renji looks on and Touka and sees his older sister.

Touka reminds him so much of her.

Tears form in his eyes.

-Your, your just an i***t you know that?

He says to her then smiles.

Kenshins eyes fade back to normal. He spins his sword to clean off any blood then sheaths it.

He rushes over to Renji and Touka.

By the time he gets there the Uchiha blood in Touka has already started healing her wounds.

Renji looks over at the area where Kenshin scarred the very ground.

"Amazing" He thinks to himself "Kenshin is so powerful".

-Are you ok?

Kenshin asks as he kneels down to check on Touka who's starting to move around.

-Ahh it's nothing!

Touka yells out while jumping up.

Kenshin rushes over to Touka.

He gently grabs her by then chin picking her face up so that its facing his moving it from side to side to inspect her.

-Thats a relief, he says, you don't appear to be hurt.

Touka blushes and pulls her face away.

-I'm I'm fine!

She says back nervously.

The sun has already started to rise the three heroes look up and realize that all of the towns people have come to give there gratitude to the Demon Slayers.

The people start off whispering but it's soon overtaken by clapping and shouting.

The people warmly welcome the heroes offer them food and shelter.

The hospitality is a welcoming change to the way they were treated when they first arrived.

The man from that house comes and offers his apologies to Touka and Renji.

He also tells the 3 they are welcome to stay at his place as long as they want.

The celebration is short lived once one of the villagers begins to warn everyone that they didn't slay the evil Tiger Demon.

Kenshin and Touka learn about the most recent incident involving 3 teenagers that where walking home just after dark.

All 3 of them ended up dead. Killed, becoming more victims to the dreaded Tiger Demon.

Renji tries to get Intel on the Demon but all he can dig up is here say. No one that has seen the Demon has lived to tell about it.

So all he can get is skeptical information of what people think they've seen.

But one thing is for sure, something about the Demon makes them call it a tiger.

This has to be the Demon that killed Renjis sister.

Touka finds Renji who has strayed away looking for Intel.

She tells him to come with her and Kenshin, that they will be staying at the man's house from last night.

The 3 head over to the man's house, he readies them a meal and tells them after he will stay at a friend's all day so the 3 can rest.

The 3 settle in and get ready to eat the meal the man so generously cooks for them.

As the man serves them he wants again pleads with them for there forgiveness.

-I hope this food helps you realize how sorry I am for my rude behavior. But please understand I didn't want any harm to come to my wife and son.

Its OK really, Touka says back.

As she talks Kenshin comes in closely examining her for to make sure she really is OK.

Touka realizes what he's doing and shyly turns away but as she does Kenshin reaches out to grab her shoulder.

He places his hand on her and grabs firmly.

-Are you sure your ok, he asks her.

He grips his hand down on her and realizes she feels soft and squishy.

He squeezes again and then looks realizing his hand isn't on her shoulder no instead he is no grabbing and squeezing her breast!!

He looks up and embarrassingly smiles.

But before he can apologize Toukas already bright red glowing face begins to scream and yell out at him.

-YOU DISGUSTING PERV!

Pretending your worried about me just so you can get a feel for how firm yet soft my amazing breast are.

She slaps him in the head and starts chasing him around hitting him anywhere she can.

-Wait! Stop Touka!

Honest I wasn't trying to touch your little breasss..

I meant I wasn't try to touch you there!

Kenshin yells out as he tries running away.

-Little! Your calling these little!

Touka says as she lifts her large breast upward.

-You know there not little!

That's exactly why you grabbed them cuz you had to see if they felt as big as they look!

She screams while chasing him.

-Well they were definitely more than my hand could handle!

Kenshin yells out only to realize he's not helping things. No he's making it much worst, stirring the hornets nest.

-Why you DIRTY!!!

Touka yells as the two continue running around.

Renji holds his head down in embarrassment shaking it back and forth.

The man opens the pot of freshly cooked stew.

The scent lingers into Kenshin and Toukas nose.

They stop chasing one another and race to the table.

The man places them some bowls, spoons, chopsticks along with a pitcher of tea and some cups.

Well help yourselves he says then walks out.

Kenshin fixes himself some tea.

Renji attempts to go serve himself but gets cutoff by Kenshin.

Though reluctant Renji allows Kenshin to skip ahead of him.

The three begin to eat.

Renji sees a chance for some payback.

He wants as Kenshin scarfs his food down.

He knows this kind of food can easily get stuck in your throat if your not careful.

So Renji lays out his plan for his prank.

While Kenshin focuses on eating as much as he can as fast as he can, Renji touches Kenshins cup of tea causing it to freeze. Then he just sits back and eats his meal while patently awaiting the inevitable.

That's when it happens.

Kenshin swallowing as much as he can all of a sudden comes to a halt.

Cough! Cough!

He hits himself in the chest trying to unlodge the stuck piece of meat in his throat.

His face turns purple and he begins to panic.

He reaches for the cup of tea he fixed prior to the meal.

He dumps the cup over in his mouth.

Nothing comes out.

He begins to panic as he shakes the cup. But still nothing.

He finally turns the cup upside down holding it over his mouth and pats it.

Nothing at first but after the second pat.

Plop!

The frozen block of tea hits him in the face unlodging the stuck piece of meat.

Renji breaks out into uncontrollable laughter and not soon after Touka follows suit.

Kenshin looks over at the laughing two then looks at the frozen tea realizing this was all a prank done by Renji.

He yells out angrily, I could have died you know that's not funny. He pouts!

-I could have died you i***t!

The room gets silent for a brief moment but then the two start laughing even harder then before.

Kenshin sits back down at first angry and pouting but then finally he smiles and then begins laughing too.

The 3 finish there meal then get ready to relax.

Tonight they will start there hunt for this so called Tiger Demon.

While Renji sleeps he dreams of his sister of how when she was young she tracked down and killed the rogue tiger that was stalking there village.

She became a hero to the village but she was always the hero to her little brother.

After she killed the tiger her father made her a breast plate for her ninja uniform with the hyde of the tiger bearing its stripes.

She always wore it she loved it.

But she also always wore the tooth Renji himself pulled from the dead tigers mouth making her a tiger fanged medallion necklace with Big Sister carved into it.

Renji was so proud of that necklace he made her and he was so proud and excited for how much she liked it how she never took it off.

-Kenshin.

Kenshin, what do think it's going to be like when we grow older.

Will you still be carrying that sword around with you?

Will you still love me and think I'm beautiful even though I'm becoming old and grey?

Saya asks.

-Even the most beautiful flowers grow old and wither but that doesn't take away from there beauty not one bit, Kenshin replies.

-And just like you, my sword isn't going anywhere.

-Why ask such silly questions Saya?

We still have a long time ahead of us before we start getting old like that!

-I know Kenny!

I guess I'm just afraid you'll wander off again one day.

I guess I'm afraid of you just up and leaving me one day because I'm, this life is to boring for someone like you.

Saya says as she frowns and looks toward the ground.

-Hey, I'm not going anywhere.

Right here with you is exactly where I always want to be.

Kenshin tells Saya as he picks her chin up and kisses her.

And boring! Your far too annoying to ever be boring!

-Hey meanie, Saya says as she jerks away from Kenshins kiss.

-You don't have to worry about ever seeing me get old!

Saya says while laughing.

What did you just say, Kenshin asks back.

He turns to Saya she's laughing hiding her face from him facing the other way.

-I'll never know what it's like to grow old!

You don't have to worry about me annoying you either!

Saya come on, I was just kidding, Kenshin says to her.

He suddenly notices the red stains on her clothes.

-The only thing your gonna do is WATCH ME DIE!!

Saya says while turning around blood spilling out of her mouth.

Kenshin jumps up.

Another dream. It was just another dream. He looks around.

Renji is still asleep but.

But where is..

He looks down and notices Touka laying there now close to where he is laying.

He quietly gets up and goes over to her.

He once again checks her to make sure she isn't injured or hurt anywhere.

He brushes her hair out of her face and looks down at her beautiful face.

He sits down beside her with his back pressed against the wall.

He continues to brush her hair with his hand.

He smiles while looking at her peaceful sleeping face.

You really are so cute when your sleeping, he says to her.

He then drifts off asleep.

Touka wakes up.

It's getting late, she thinks to herself.

She looks over Renji is already up and moving around.

She goes to get up she notices something is on her.

It's Kenshins hand right he asleep sitting beside her with his hand on her head.

She blushes and looks up at Kenshin sleeping.

She moves his hand then sits up facing him.

"What are you doing over here she thinks?"

Kenshin opens his eyes.

His eyes meet hers.

He smiles then panics realizing where he is at and what is going on.

-I, I just wanted to make sure you really were OK!

Honest he says while preparing himself for the yelling and hitting.

-Thank you Kenshin but really I'm fine now so please stop worrying about me.

Touka says back to Kenshin.

-Are you two love birds done?

Renji shouts out.

If y'all are done romancing how about we get back to hunting this Demon.

Touka and Kenshins faces both become bright red.

Touka jumps up and rushes away from Kenshin.

-Oh shut up Renji! That's not, there's nothing going on.

Touka yells.

Kenshin quickly grabs his sword and tries to just fade away hoping if he's quite they won't notice him.

After a moment things go back to normal.

The 3 begin talking about what there next move is.

They figure with the remaining daylight they will question the townspeople and try to pinpoint where the Demon seems to be coming from.

And before you know it they're off and the mission begins.

They head back to the scene of the last attack.

Its a trail heading from a large farm like area the teenage kids usually go to hang out at.

At the scene other then blood and faint traces of the scent of sulfur there's really nothing useful.

Touka talks to the villagers and discovers that not long after the Tiger Demon was spotted the Lesser Demons have been attacking almost as if being summoned or controlled.

Touka realizes that this Tiger Demon must be a Demi-Demon and this Demi-Demon is controlling the Lesser Demons.

She runs to Kenshin to share with him what she has learned.

Darkness is almost here.

The gang readies there weapons and prepares themselves for battle.

As darkness cloaks the village everyone other than our 3 heroes runs and locks themselves inside.

There's rustling in the nearby fields.

Renji always looking for a fight quickly jumps in to go investigate.

Its only a pack of stray dogs.

As Renji turns back around upset he wasted his time he suddenly smells the pungent scent of sulfur, and it's close by.

At of the long grassy field a wolf like Lesser Demon jumps out from the pack of stray dogs it was hidden amongst.

As it jumps in after Renji it opens its mouth wide so wide it rips its whole upper body in half to the top set of legs, mutating into a giant mouth.

Renji uses his chain to entangle the monster and after goes on the offensive.

He tangles the Demon in his chain and then uses the chain to force the Demons mouth close.

Renjis eyes frost over into that icy blue, he pulls on his chain and hollers out

-Ice Chains!

The chains starting from his hand begin to freeze the frozen ice runs down the chain and incases the Demon in ice.

Renji pulls his chain back and begins to twirl his sickle.

He hurls the sickle cutting into the Demon that's now frozen in place.

The sickle cuts through the Demon slicing it in half.

The halved body separates and then is bound back together by the blood that has now frozen into a block of ice now holding the two separate pieces together.

Renji quickly pulls the sickle back.

-Ice Breaker!

He yells out the name of his attack.

The sickle cuts through the frozen block of blood causing the Demon to shatter.

The smell of blood takes over the air.

Kenshin and Touka recognize it and quickly act on it.

They head off in the direction of the scent.

It's a house right at the end of the trail there on.

-Dammit!

Touka shouts out realizing the Lesser Demon was just a decoy and they took the bait.

-We have to hurry, Touka shouts out to Kenshin.

But once the two get there they realize they are already to late.

Kenshin pushes open the door.

There's blood everywhere.

Touka rushes in behind him.

They start to look for the Demon or any survivors.

Kenshin hears something coming from outside right behind the house.

He rushes to the back and there on the ground he sees the Tiger Demon feasting on a human.

The Demon is on all fours eating its victim just like a real tiger.

But once it hears Kenshin it stands up on two legs.

It's human in appearance, it looks like like a young woman.

But it's eyes glow that eerie green glow proving its no human.

No its a man-eating Demon.

The Demon wipes its face removing the blood revealing its tiger like teeth.

Kenshin also notices it has claws long and razor sharp like a tiger.

It also has tiger stripes but only on the area covering its breast. The rest of it appears to be black.

It's a uniform almost just like the ninja uniform Renji wears.

The Demon smiles at Kenshin then prepares to attack.

Kenshin grips his sword and readies himself to defend.

Out of nowhere a glimmer, Renjis chain from his kusarisama shines and cuts off Kenshin from the Demon.

Renji lands and turns to Kenshin.

-Let me get the first swing at it, Renji tells Kenshin.

-Its all yours, but don't get yourself hurt or killed.

If you feel you can't handle it I'll pick up your slack!

Kenshin replies back in a cocky voice removing his hand from his sword.

-Yeah Right, Renji proclaims as he begins to twirl his kusarisama.

He turns to the Demon and smiles while twirling his kusarisama around his body.

-Lets see how you dance!

Renji says, but as soon as he sees the Demon he freezes.

The Demon uses this chance to make a run for it.

-Hey Dammit!

Kenshin yells out as he rushes towards Renji.

What the hell are you doing?

Useless!!

Kenshin rushes off in pursuit of the Demon.

Touka grabs Renji and begins to shake him.

-Hey, hey are you ok?

She asks.

Hey, snap out of it!

It looks like you just seen a ghost.

Renji tries to come too.

-Tha, that Demon, it's wearing, it's wearing my sisters ninja uniform!

Renji yells out.

Soon he is consumed by rage and immediately begins to follow Kenshin in pursuit of the Demon.

Kenshin tries to keep up with the Demon but it moves nimbly and swift.

Its movement's are alot like that of Toukas and Renjis.

The Demons escape seems to be inevitable.

-Your not getting away that easy, Kenshin says as his eyes burst into white flames followed by the sound of a thousand birds chirping.

Kenshin kicks off the ground causing the ground beneath his feet to crumble.

He's moving so fast now it's almost like he's teleporting.

The Demon rushes off into the tree tops.

Kenshin unsheathes his sword and slices into the air creating his wind blades cutting the canopies out of the trees.

The branches along with the Demon start to fall toward the ground.

As the Demon falls it's let's a deafening blood curling screech.

Kenshin quickly slashes the air creating more wind blades.

He cuts away all the falling limbs.

The Demon hits the ground landing on its side.

Kenshin resheathes his sword.

Electricity radiates from and around him causing the ground beneath him to disintegrate.

He grips his sword tight and readies to unsheath it.

-Dragon's........

Before he can finish his attack a horde of Lesser Demons emerge from the shadows.

They all swarm in and attack Kenshin at once and at the same time protect and shield the Tiger Demons escape.

Kenshin hits the first bunch of Demons with his wind blades and tries to go after the Tiger.

But there's just to many Lesser Demons, he will have to deal with them first.

As he fights the increasing number of Lesser Demons the Tiger makes its escape.

Renji and Touka finally catch up.

Renji looks around for the Tiger Demon not seeming to be to concerned with the horde of Lesser Demons.

Touka all of a sudden appears in the middle of the battlefield bouncing around slashing her short sword.

Everything she cuts catches into flames and her bouncing around causes the flames to dance burning everything they come in contact with.

Dance Of The Flames!

She calls out the name of her beautiful attack.

All of Toukas movements and attacks are elegant and beautiful and they are all executed like a beautifully choreographed dance.

She lands back on the ground and turns around to the next group of would be attackers.

She smiles that confident and beautiful smirk.

She quickly slashes her sword creating wind blades and as she does her eyes catch into red flames.

Burning Petals!

She yells out the name to her attack and the wind blades catch into flames resembling cherry blossoms petals.

They hit the Demons stunning them.

Renji jumps high into the air swinging his kusarisama.

Freeze Over!

He shouts out the name of his attack as he slams his chain into the ground causing the ground to freeze shooting ice spikes outward implaing the enemies.

Touka then jumps into the air over the impaled Demons and throws a barrage of daggers from above that catch fire and explode upon impact.

Lava Rain!

She shouts out the name of her attack. She then lands right by Renji.

The two look at each other and smile at one another in excitement.

-Touka!

Renji!

Hurry! Move out of my way now!

Kenshin yells at the two.

He then grabs his sword with both hands and raises it above his head.

As he does wind envelopes the blade in a smoke like energy wave that incases the blade swirling all around it trailing its movements.

The remaining Demons flock together at the rear of the battlefield behind Touka and Renji.

Touka and Renji hear the sounds of birds chirping they realize they are in the line of fire and quickly jump out of the way.

Kenshin swings his sword with the wind surging, trailing and then converging into a huge blast of energy.

Wind Scar!

He yells out the name of his attack and the energy blast off of his sword like a projectile slicing foward vertically cutting into the ground and air.

Right at the moment of impact the wind energy erupts with electricity and explodes on impact decimating everything in its path.

The battle is over.

All the Lesser Demons have been slayed.

Renji looks for the Tiger Demon but it's to late, it has already made its escape.

He goes to check the surrounding area but is stopped when Kenshin grabs him by his shoulder.

-Just, just what in the hell was, what the hell where you thinking.

First you say you want to fight the Demon, then you just stand there and watch as it escapes.

You better have one hell of an explanation!

Kenshin yells out angrily at Renji.

Renji looks at Kenshin at first with anger then with disappointment and confusion then quickly looks away.

-Hey! Aren't, Don't you have anything to say?

Kenshin continues to question Renji.

Touka grabs Kenshin by his arm and tells him to calm down.

-I'm sure he has a reasonable explanation for his actions. So just chill, Touka tells Kenshin.

Kenshin releases his grip on Renji and decides they can talk about this later but for now it would be best to pursue the Tiger Demon with the remaining night they have left.

The three search around but the Lesser Demons played there role as decoy perfectly allowing the Tiger to make its escape.

It's been over a week now since Kenshin and the gang ran into the Tiger and since that night all trails of the Tiger has gone cold.

In fact they haven't even seen another Lesser Demon since the last one they slayed about 3 or so nights ago.

They realize that the Demon has probably left the area along with any Lesser Demons that served under it.

It's safe to assume the village will no longer have to worry about the Tiger anymore so the three heroes prepare themselves to leave.

The man that they've been staying with cooks them one last meal, feeds them and then packs them a good bit of food for the road.

He also tells them that they are always welcome there at his house.

They thank him and prepare to head out.

As they walk off the man yells out

-Thank y'all!

And don't y'all be stranger's come and visit again anytime!!

Touka turns around waving and smiling and shouts back,

-I'm sure we will cross paths again!

Thanks for all the great food and hospitality!

The three head out toward the mountain region.

Renji clinches his kusarisama and questions about his sister and that Demon race through his head.

Just what is the connection between the Tiger and Renjis sister?

Kenshin and the gang go village to village asking around about a Tiger Demon.

They keep coming up empty handed.

That is until there last stop a village right at the bottom of the mountain has been having alot of strange and creepy things going on as of late.

And to top it off there has been alot of people suddenly going missing vanishing without a trace.

No one knows how or why the people are disappearing.

But there are rumors of a monster that comes from the mountains to drink the blood of humans to grant it long life and supernatural powers.

Is this the Tiger or is it another Demon?

Either way Kenshin and Touka both know they have to eliminate it they won't allow the suffering of these people to go on any longer.
