The Samurai Episode 10 The Demon Hunters

Kenshin drops his guard, completely losing track of his surroundings out of fear of what Touka now thinks of him. 

Touka turns back to the Commander,

-How... how do you know about Demons and what do you know about Kenshin? 

-Funny you should ask! The Commander shouts while laughing.

-Oh no, Touka get away from him now! Kenshin shouts. 

But he’s already too late.

The Commander begins to change right before Toukas eyes, as she watches in disbelief The Commander transform into a hideous Demon.

As he completes his transformation he runs his tail straight through Toukas stomach picking her up off the ground while piercing her through. She cries out in pain, as the Demon flings her throwing her into the wall. 

-TOUKA! NO! Kenshin yells out.

His eyes suddenly burn to white he draws his sword and lunges to attack the Demon blinded with rage. The Demon easily evades the attack by using it as long tail to flick Kenshin to the side. 

The Demon now in it’s TRUE form is a monstrous creature. It looks like a rotted half dead dinosaur. Long and boney with an elongated head and mouth. It looks evil sinister.

The creature speaks,

- UCHIHA! I CAN SMELL YOUR BLOOD UCHIHA! I GUESS ITS TRUE WHAT THEY SAY ABOUT THE UCHIHA NOT BEING VERY SMART. 

YOU THINK YOU’VE BEEN HUNTING ME THIS WHOLE TIME... HAHA! BUT IN FACT ITS BEEN I HUNTING YOU!

 HOW IS IT YOU THINK TOUKA FOUND YOU? I SMELLED YOUR BLOOD ON THE FLAMING SKULLS. AND SINCE THEN I’VE BEEN TESTING YOU. MAKING SURE YOU WERE THE REAL THING. A REAL LIVE UCHIHA!

-What? Kenshin yells out. You’ve been hunting me? That’s impossible!

-IMPOSSIBLE? The Demon ask, YOUR SUCH A FOOL, YOU UCHIHA SCUM! YOU’VE BEEN MY PREY, TAKING MY BAIT!

I ALMOST HAD YOU TOO, BUT THEN YOUR EXISTENCE GOT BACK TO MY MASTER. HE SLAYED THE NINJA I SENT IN TO KEEP TABS ON YOU. I PLANNED ON DEVOURING YOU ONCE THEY MADE CONTACT.

BUT MY MASTER INTERCEPTED YOU AND SET HIS OWN TRAP. YOU SHOULD BE DEAD. THAT’S WHY I WAS SO SURPRISED TO SE YOU AND TOUKA LAST NIGHT. IM SO GLAD YOUR NOT DEAD. CUZ NOW YOUR MINE!

Touka stands back up blood around her mouth.

-You’re a Demon? You were a Demon this whole time? But why pretend your human? Why do you spend so much time in the human world? Surely you didn’t foresee finding Kenshin by pretending to be a Ninja?!

The Demon replies,

-FINDING THE UCHIHA WAS A PLEASANT SURPRISE! DEMONS HAVE ALWAYS RAN THE HUMAN WORLD FROM THE SHADOWS. BUT SOON, REAL SOON WE WILL NO LONGER HAVE TO HIDE. SOON THIS WORLD WILL ONCE AGAIN BE OURS!

Touka stumbles forward and goes her sword. 

But Kenshin yells out, 

-No Touka, stop your injured! AND THIS BATTLE IS MINE! 

The air fills with the sound of chirping birds. Kenshin swings his sword creating blades of lightning and wind that slam into the Demon. 

(BOOM!BOOM!BOOM!)

The blades hit the impact cause the cave to crumble creating a cloud of dust. Kenshin lunges into the cloud of dust thrusting his blade forward into it. But he only hits air. 

Before he can make another move the Demon wraps his tail around Kenshins neck picking him up from behind then beating into his back. Pounding mercilessly. 

Kenshin spits up blood and tries to free himself but it’s no good. The Demon continues wailing on him so hard, his vision becomes blurred. 

And just when he thinks he can’t take another punch the Demon throws him up into the ceiling and as he’s falling back down the Demon swats him with its tail sending him flying into the wall. 

Kenshin still with sword in hand rolls over in pain and as he does the Demon grabs him by the hair and yanks him off the ground. 

Kenshin yells out in pain, but at the same time releases his sword from his hand and then kicks it sending it flying into the Demons eye. 

The Demon releases Kenshin and when it does Kenshin lunges for his sword still embedded deep in the Demons skull. 

Once he grabs the handle he produces an electric current that flows through the hilt shooting out the blade blasting a hole in the Demons head. 

And in the same instant Kenshin releases his sword again then kicks it once more this time sending it straight through the Demons head. Kenshin flips over and grabs his sword as soon as it bust through, he does a flip slicing off the Demons tail. 

Then he jumps straight up flips kicks off the ceiling and thrust downward toward the Demon with his blade. The Demon uses his left hand to shield himself allowing Kenshins blade to pierce through his palm and thus becoming wedged in. 

With his right hand he makes his talons grow longer and he slices Kenshin on his right leg.

Kenshin pulls his sword from the Demons hand and jumps away. He lands and his Demon blood quickly begins to heal the wound on his leg. 

Kenshin wasting no time, lunges forward swinging his sword cutting into the air creating an X out of lightning and wind. It hits the Demon!

Kenshin then jumps up into the air and releases a flurry of sword swings creating a barrage of projectiles. But as he does the Demons still disconnected cut off tail runs Kenshin through the shoulder then wraps itself around Kenshins arm while staying embedded in his shoulder.

The Demon uses its tail to pull Kenshin to him reconnecting its tail with its body. 

Kenshin yells out in pain. But uses the forward movement of the tail being drawn back to the Demon to create a lighting blade. It hits the Demon!

The tail releases Kenshin and as he it does Kenshin using the lightning blade to slice it from the Demons body once again. 

Kenshin then pulls the tail out from his shoulder he throws it then flips in the air coming down with his blade onto the tail creating a blast wave that vaporizes the tail. 

The Demon kicks Kenshin straight up into the air then jumps into the air landing on the ceiling catching Kenshin pinning him to the ceiling and pummeling him beating him upside into the ceiling. 

Kenshin yells out spitting blood. He points his sword toward the ceiling shooting a current of electricity the force blast the two off the ceiling. 

As they fall Kenshin spins his sword forward and goes to slice the air, but as he does the Demon extends his arm grabbing the ceiling again causing him to fly back up towards the ceiling out of Kenshins attack.

The Demon punches Kenshin back into the ceiling and then pulls a large boulder from the ceiling with the hand he used to grab into the ceiling and uses it to smash Kenshin into the ground. 

He then lands and knocks off all the broken rubble that now lays on top of Kenshin.

His claws become longer and he stabs Kenshin in his legs and throws Kenshin into the air. He then lunges forward with his claws trying to drive them through Kenshin. But Kenshin parries with his sword. 

But then he is swatted out of the air by the Demons regrown tail.

The Demon speaks, 

-I grow tired of this! 

He displays his tail to Kenshin in front of his body and as he does the tail splits open revealing a sword like bone coming out of the end. 

-It is time to bring this little game to an end now Uchiha! The Demon again speaks. 

Kenshin on one knee bent over leaning onto his sword that is driven in the ground to help hold him up looks up at the Demon. 

He’s breathing heavily eyes still glowing white, he’s bloody and beaten. He grips his sword, but as he does he’s ran through by the Demons tail from behind. 

He spits out blood and yells out.

The Demon cuts down a little then twist his tail before removing it. Then he swats Kenshin into the wall.

Kenshin spitting up blood tries to get up, but before he can the Demon pushes him back into the ground stepping on him with its foot digging its talons into Kenshins back.

The Demon speaks, 

-Its over Uchiha! 

The Demon whips its tail in front of Kenshin showing the blade. Then thrust it up into the air ready to drive it straight through Kenshins face. 

"It’s over", Kenshin closes his eyes.

Splat splat.. 

Something hits Kenshin on the face. He opens his eyes, it's blood.

He looks up,

-Oh no!

Touka is leaning over him blood coming out of her mouth. She smiles at him. 

Kenshins eyes widens he looks down and sees the Demons tail sticking out of her right under her left breast. 

-No Touka! Kenshin yells out and reaches his hand to her. 

But the Demon flings her into the wall. 

-You stupid Girl, The Demon speaks, You should have stayed put. You just might have lived. 

-Noooo! Kenshin yells out and grabs his sword. 

The Demon smacks him back down with his tail. Kenshin lifts up his head and looks towards the lifeless Touka…..

Suddenly Kenshin begins laughing hysterically. His eye's and face grow this sinister dark look. He stands up and wipes the blood away from his mouth and laughs.

-HAAAAHHAAA! YOUR SO WEAK WITHOUT ME! JUST LOOK AT WHAT YOU’VE LET THIS WEAK DEMON DO TO US! YOUR PATHETIC! NOW LET ME SHOW YOU HOW ITS DONE!

The ground around Kenshin explodes. The sound of birds chirping rings the air. Electricity sizzles in the ground and air. 

Kenshins Demon blood awakens releasing a dark and terrifying power. His murderous intent feels the air making it hard to even breath.

His hair rips out of its ponytail as it’s now in the air looking like flames.

There is a white aura surrounding Kenshin. Steam from his healing wounds emits from his body as electric currents run amok around him.

The Demon looks over at Kenshin not knowing what just happened as he does he sees the evil smile in Kenshins face.

Kenshin explodes with power, he laughs hysterically then grips his sword.

He licks his lips as he looks at the Demon. He swings his sword at god like speed creating a gust of wind and lightning that blast forward towards the Demon. 

The Demon goes to evade, but as it does it feels Kenshins blade pierce through its heart as Kenshin instantly teleports behind the Demon driving his blade through him with one hand and with the other hand he holds the Demon in place.

The blast Kenshin fired earlier smashes into the two of them. It’s a large explosion, as it hits Kenshin laughs and his lust for blood is as thick in the air as his thirst for blood and battle. 

He relishes in the moment.

Once the blast dissipates the Demon now laying on the ground badly damaged tries to get up, but as it does Kenshin runs his sword through his neck and then slams his knee onto its head.

-NOW NOW! YOUR STILL ALIVE! LUCK FOR ME YOUR NOT AS WEAK AS YOU LOOK! DANCE A LITTLE LONGER FOR ME THEN MAGGOT! DANCE! Kenshin says with a sinister giggle then licks his lips. 

Kenshin then twist his blade still embedded in the Demons neck and pulls his sword towards him slicing the Demons head and neck open in half. 

Kenshin then gets up still laughing slams his sword into the ground and shoots an electrical current from it reducing the Demon to ash.

-YOU SEE HOW I FIGHT, HOW I KILL?! HAHA HA! IF YOU WOULDN’T TRY TO KEEP ME, IF YOU WOULD JUST LEARN TO EMBRACE ME, THEN MAYBE TOU….

-Touka! Oh no Touka! Kenshins eyes fade back and the aura of power disappears, Touka! He rushes over to her. 

She's not breathing.

-No! Touka No! Not again, No! Kenshin yells out as he cries holding her lifeless body, No! No ! No! 

He looks around they are miles from any kind of help. 

No this can’t be. He’s to late she's gone, there’s nothing he can do.

He cries while looking down at her. 

He brushes her hair from her face like he’s done before. 

His tears fall onto her bloody face,

 No! No I can’t, I won’t lose you too! I won’t be alone again! Please Touka, I need you!

He looks down at her lifeless face. 

-What can I do?

He frantically looks around. He wipes his tears and his eyes blaze into that white flame. 

-Please forgive me Touka, I hope you can forgive. But I can't, I don't, I won't lose you too. I won't. This is the only way!

He pulls out his word and slices deep into his wrist. He opens Toukas mouth and let’s his blood pour into it. 

He puts his sword down and uses his hand to close her mouth,

-Please Touka drink! Please drink it, I need you to swallow some of it, any of it! Swallow it Touka, please!

He removes his hand from her mouth. Her mouth opens and his blood runs back out. 

-Is it already to late? No! It can't be to late... You have to drink, just drink some of my blood! Please Touka! Please don’t leave me!

He try’s to put more blood in her mouth but it just runs back out,

-Come on Touka wake up! Wake up and hit me for being a pervert, for... for holding you this long. Wake up and yell at me for always staring at your beautiful face and amazing body. Touka wake up! 

We... we can... I'll cook us some beef.. as... as much as you want! And you can sit as close to me as you want! Please, please don't leave me alone Touka.

He tries again and again cutting himself over and over. He does everything he can think to do. 

But he has to come to the realization she’s gone. She’s gone...

He couldn’t save her. And just like that he’s all alone in this world. He cries while holding her….

Night falls. The scent of blood and sulfur is in the air. Kenshin jumps up and grabs his sword. There's a demon nearby.

Kenshin tucks his sword into his belt, tightens the ribbon holding his ponytail and readies to set out.

-Touka! Wake up! He yells out. 

Touka opens her pretty purple eyes and as she does they catch into a red flame. 

Then change back to purple. 

She smiles and grabs her sword,

-Lets go! It’s time to hunt Touka! I can sense a Demon nearby. . . . . .TO BE CONTINUED
