Episode 2 — The Girl She Never Lost

The hospital room was silent.

Only the soft, rhythmic beeping of machines filled the air.

Hira lay on the bed—still, pale, fragile.

For the first time in years…

She looked human again.

Any stood beside her.

She hadn’t moved.

Not for hours.

Not since she saw her.

Not since her entire world… came back to life.

“…You’re real,” Any whispered, her voice trembling.

Her fingers hovered above Hira’s hand… but she was afraid to touch.

“They told me you died… a car accident… I saw reports…”

Hira closed her eyes.

Silence again.

Heavy.

Painful.

“Try me,” Any said.

Hira stayed silent for a long time.

“I’m not Hira anymore… at least not to the world.”

Any frowned.

“What do you mean?”

Hira looked at her.

“…I’m Slash.”

The room went still.

Any blinked.

Hira nodded slowly.

Her eyes darkened instantly.

“Location?” Hira asked coldly.

“I can try… but he’s powerful.”

Hira smirked slightly.

“So am I.”

“You’re going after him, aren’t you?”

Hira didn’t deny it.

“He took years from us.”

“Hira… don’t lose yourself again,” Any whispered.
