Ariana's POV
I watched from under the bed. I saw Michael walk towards the door. The door opened, and Michael exited my room. I slowly came out from under the bed. The contract was still lying on the floor where I had dropped it.
What am I going to do? I thought as I scanned the room.
I walked towards the door and tried to open it. I turned the doorknob, but it failed to open. I remembered Miriam opening it with a card, but she didn't give me the card.
I thought this type of door only needs the card when you are entering, not when you are exiting. I walk back to the bed. I knew I had been locked inside the room. Stay in your room at all times. One of the rules from the contract.
