Damien's POV
I exited my office, and I froze at what greeted me. I was surprised to find Michael and Ariana at each other's throats.
Interesting, a human who is not scared of my beta. I thought and somehow smiled inwardly as I walked up to them. As soon as my face was in view, Michael spoke.
"Alpha, I came to get her, like you instructed, but she is being disrespectful towards me again," Michael said, but I ignored him.
I sent him to get me some documents from the HR office and asked Ariana to come with me. I was glad she was okay. Once we entered my office, I asked myself what I was doing. I need to kill this strange feeling.
"You read the details of your contract?" I asked, and from her reaction, I could tell she was lost for a while, but my question drew her attention back to me.
