"Victoria?" I asked, my voice sounding like I was choking.
"She needs us. She is under attack," Kai replied.
Victoria left my ward a few minutes ago, right after my father. If anything, she could have caught up with my father. So, who could have attacked her? I thought, as I sat up on the bed, pushing the blanket off me.
I put my feet down, but before I could slip my feet into my shoes, I felt another pain in my chest, making me bend over.
