I had to admit that I was somewhat surprised to find that she had already begun to acknowledge all of the different possibilities, in the same way that I had. Good. I chose to take it as a sign that she was taking me seriously, and that she was trusting me. But the fact that she didn’t know what to do, was something that I hadn’t bargained on. I had hoped that once I had told her about all of this, she would instantly have a solution, and I would be able to go about my day in whatever way that solution impacted it.
