As we started to descend yet another staircase, I couldn’t help but acknowledge the relief that bubbled up within me. It had seemed like we had been doing nothing other than going down staircase after staircase, and yet, we hadn’t gotten anywhere near where we needed to go. It was starting to take its’ toll on me.
