But even as I tried to convince myself of the fact that Dae would never be as ruthless as to do what he had just implied, there was something about the look in his eye that made me second guess myself. Why would he make a threat like that if he didn’t mean it? Dae was smart. He knew better than to say something if he didn’t have any plans on following it through.
