When Love Meets Mr. Baseball

Chapter 1- New Position

Kristy POV

"Ugh, 5 more minutes!" I groaned outload slamming my first down on my alarm clock. It's 6 a.m. and I've never been a morning person. EVER!

It's Monday and this is one of my last couple of days full-time working for the Physical Therapy clinic at the Hospital. It was the job I took being that it was the best offered when I'd decided to make the move out here to Alabama with my 2 children a little over 2 years ago. They offered relocation assistance which was a huge help in the move. But now I'd found the position I have been really desiring for!

Being a Physical Therapist in sports medicine, I'd longed to be in the sports industry. Preferably Baseball, where my passion has always been. Finally an opportunity had opened its doors to me like a miracle since I'd gotten here to Alabama.

The Alabama Bull Horns MLB Team had the opening for a full-time Sports Medicine Physical Therapist! I nearly screached and danced around the day I saw the ad pop up! After many long intense interviews, I was finally offered the position. I knew I'd miss everyone at the hospital and all the Patients, but this was a once in a life time opportunity I knew I wouldn't get again.

My children were more excited then I think I was! They loved baseball and especially the Alabama Bull Horns team! Yeah I'm nervous, several reasons really. One I'd spend my days around a bunch of arrogant, egotistical jocks that would probably test my patience a time or two, but they don't know who their dealing with so I hope they are ready for what I'm going to give back! Second I'm nervous because even though I know I'm an excellent PT, would I stand up to the expectations they were looking for? All I could do was try my damnest!
