Kate's POV
I stepped out of the cab and paid the driver. I hope Monalisa is fine? Or could it be that her husband has done something terrible to her?I turned to see the huge mansion standing before me.
"Oh my gosh! Monalisa lives in a palace" I gasped, admiring the building.
I shook off my silly thoughts. I have to be focused. If I find out that Alex did anything to Lisa, I will forget that he was once my crush and won't hesitate to give him a taste of my fist.
I charged towards the building and pressed the door bell but there was no response. I pressed it again and the door cracked open to reveal a young lady. She was putting on a blue uniform, looks like she is a helper. This is the way the maids of rich people in television dress.
"Hi.. I am here to see Monalisa, she is my friend"
