Mary’s father was somewhat relieved at the plausibility of her explanation. Yet it was obvious he still harbored grave reservations. “That’s all well and good child but where are his parents? How do you know someone is not looking for him right now? And how will they find him if they are?” “I waited and looked about for anyone near. We were alone father.
