The final rays of light that shines over the graveyard gradually disappears as the grey clouds loom in, Sherman looked over at the coffin of one of his crewmates in the past from a far. People around the coffin already started to throw flowers in which Sherman figured the ceremony is pretty much over. He sipped whatever that is left from the chocolate milk he bought from the store before coming here. “I figured you might be here” a figure with a black raincoat from a far was calling him. “There’s really nowhere to hide from you huh Alex?” “I’m as surprised as you are to see you’re not getting caught yet from going AWOL”, Sherman grinned, Alex Harper is also one of his crew teams before he silently vanished from the SEAL task force, only Harper know exactly where he is yet he didn’t tell anyone else. Though he might face punishment for defending me, he brushed it away while saying as long as he didn’t open his mouth, he will be fine. “I’m assuming you have other things in mind other than saying hi to me”, “You’re a sharp one as always Mike”, Sherman rolled his eyes while looking at the convenience store across the street. “How about we take this talk to somewhere safer after I buy my milk”, Harper laughed, “Sure mate, at least your milk addiction is still the same as ever”.  “So, you made me drag your ass across downtown for what?”, “Look at this mate” Harper give Sherman a detailed file of what seemed to be 5 corpses of dead bodies, one of them had their body cut to ribbons. “What’s this? A work of a lone psychopath?” “Our first thought would be like that as well, but as we look in closely we realized something”, “And that is?”, “The time and place the killing was in action”, The way they cover up their tracks doesn’t seem like some random dude who was on a killing spree” “They?” “Yeah, we figured this kind of cover up work was way too fast for one person” “So you’re assuming some random payed up mafia gangs who did this?” “I’m not assuming anything yet Mike, The point is, we couldn’t find any trace of killing equipments at all, no bullets, no gunshots, no sharp or blunt object was found at any of those corpses.” Sherman studied the picture carefully, at first glance it looked like the guy was being cut by a giant razor, but he had a bad feeling it might be something that makes him leave the SEAL task force in the first place before. “Alex, I have a lead but I wanted to testify it first”, “You sure you didn’t need my help?”, “Nah I don’t mean to sound rude but it’s better if you didn’t follow me this time”, Harper nodded thoughtfully “Alright then, whenever you need me, just call the office, I’m on the book”. Harper left the alleyway leaving Sherman alone in deep thought. “Who would’ve thought it was something from your world Melissa, but I better confirm with you first”, Sherman takes a cab back to his apartment and open his closet. The portal is there, bending through time and space like a stationary black hole that sucks up everything that goes by. Sherman take a deep breath before eventually leaping inside, his vision was blurred, everything was so bright and there is an ominous smell all around him. As the smoke screen in front of him gradually disappear, an elegant giant girl with wings up to 2 meters spreading across the space, smiled upon his arrival. “You are back so soon?” “Melissa, I wanted to talk to you about something” “Sherman, the ship has already sailed, come here boy, we’ll talk”
