I couldn't stop my hands from shaking after seeing Alex being rushed into the house. He was hurt and everyone in the manor was alarmed by his sudden condition.
"What happened?" Fiona asked on getting to the floor he was being treated.
"There was an attack. Some men ambushed our vehicle but we were able to escape. Most of our men are injured including the Boss," one the guards explained. He was also covered in blood and was panicking as he helped his other colleagues who got injured.
I rubbed my sweaty palms on my shorts scared that Alex was in a grave situation.
"Khloe, we need to go back to your room. They will take care of the situation here," Fiona said but my mind was too clouded to listen to her.
