Mirabel jumped up, frightened at the loud thud beside her,when she looked at it ,it was a human,she was a bit calm that it wasn't an harmful animal,she crawl to where the person is lying ,she turned the man to face up since he is lying unconscious on his stomach,when Mirabel saw the man who just fell ,she felt lost for some moment before she quickly gain her wit back,she tore a small piece of her gown and went to deep it inside the river she came back and wipe the blood on the man's head,he was injured on the right side of his forehead,Mirabel was really sympathetic with the man's injury,she wish his wound would heal sooner.

She drag him to where she was laying earlier in the small Grass,she gave him one last look before also falling asleep .

Mirabel was woken up with a loud and disturbing noise,she saw the man she helped earlier cutting down some leaves from a dried tree, Mirabel quickly stand up and walk to him,the man stopped and look in the direction of Mirabel,"Hey I woke up laying down beside you,sorry if I might have disturbed your sleep",the man said,Mirabel got to have a proper view of his face unlike earlier when he was unconscious,he has a pair of blue eyes matched to that of the vibrant and peaceful yet dangerous nature of the river ,he has a brown hair almost covering one side of his eyes ,his eyelashes were thick and long ,Mirabel look down to his lips and they were pink and plumpy,he his well built and has a fair skin,he his like a man created from hell to take all the handsomeness of all the men on Earth,she thought no man could ever be so breathtakingly handsome,"uh mm ,do you want to say something?",The man said when he saw how silent Mirabel was,Mirabel jolted out from her world of admiration,she thought she must have been caught staring unusually at the man,"Am sorry,I.....I ,thought you were unconscious then ,and you even had an injury on your head",Mirabel said looking back at his face ,but to her utmost surprise there is no injury or scar on his face,she stared at his face earlier but did not notice anything unusual,but now she thought she was dreaming,she visibly took care of the wound earlier and wished it was healed soon,then she remembered what Happened at the factory,was it the same thing that just happened with this man.

Mirabel did not want to argue about the injury with him,since they are just meeting and she has to respect her boundary,"what your name?",The man asked,Mirabel answered and the man spoke again,"I am Lucian",the man said.

Mirabel nodded her head and went to where she lay earlier picked up her bag and went to continue her journey,She did not even bid Lucian fare well before she dive deeper into the forest, Lucian stopped cutting down the leaves and looked in the direction Mirabel went through.

He sat down under the tree and rested his head on his chin,he remembers that he fell from the mountain due to exhaustation and he lost consciousness,but when he found him self laying beside her unharmed,he became wary of the girl,but seems she also was clearly shocked from the dissapearance of his injury, perhaps she wasn't one of the witches rumoured to roam around in the forest.

Lucian rise up and look around ,and saw some ripe fruit on the tree,he plucked them and ate to his fill,he walk to the river and washed himself up.

He got dressed ,and wanted to continue his journey to the qora village.It was the village the old wizard directed to him when he returned to the country last month.

Lucian return his sword back to his position on his pant,and he keep walking deeper into the forest until it is night time,he wanted to rest under a tree before he continues his journey the next day,as soon as he sits down he heard the howling of a bear,he thought he had misheard , perhaps it was all playing in his head,he wanted to untie the buttons on his shirt when he heard a loud scream,he quickly jumped up and walked in the direction where the voice came from.

As the bear kept coming closer ,Mirabel kept moving back wards,she screamed earlier when she saw the huge bear, but it only drew the attention of the bear to her,she thought she has finally met her death,she at least wished to get her revenge mission accomplished before death took her to the cold afterlife,but seems nature has other thing in plan for her,one drop of tear stream down her eyes, Suddenly the bear jumped up , spreading out it claws,Mirabel closed her eyes waiting for the bear to pounce on her and then she would know what it feels like to experience death at the last moment,instead of feeling pain she heard a loud thud on the ground,the floor seems like it shook from the impact of what fell on it,Mirabel opened her eyes and saw the bear laying in a pool of blood,she quickly move back from the scene,she felt a towering shadow in front of her and she looked up,sh saw the man from earlier,he stood there with blood dripping down his sword,he his like a lion on the battle field ,the stoic face adds up to his dark aura,Mirabel fear rushed to her body ,but then Lucina walk forward and streched his hand out for her,Mirabel stare at the big hand compared to her tiny ones for what felt like forever before she accepted it,Lucian help her up and they both walk away from the scene.

"Thank you",Mirabel said after recovering from the shock of what transpired Earlier,she had thought it was her death moment but this man showed up at the nick of time,he has really saved her and she appreciates it because her life means a lot to her now that she has a goal to achieve."It Is nothing ,I owe you for helping me at the mountain earlier too",Lucian said looking at the mountain not far from them,then he spoke again,"Your dress is torn and dirty ,I have some spare clothe inside my bag,you can change into one of your choice",Lucian said,he felt like he is going to develop injury in his mouth for talking that long.
