"What time do we need to leave?" I asked, checking my phone. "One thirty," Julian replied. "The production house is only twenty minutes away but I want to give us extra time in case of traffic." I looked at the clock on the wall. It was only nine AM. "That's four and a half hours from now," I said. "What am I supposed to do until then?" "Whatever you need to do to stay calm," Julian suggested. "Watch TV, read, take a walk, anything that keeps you from spiraling." I knew he was right, but the idea of sitting still for four hours made me want to crawl out of my skin. "I should review my sketches one more time," I said, standing up and walking over to where my sketchpad sat on the coffee table, exactly where Julian had left it last night. I picked it up and carried it back to the counter
