Hybrid's Twin Mates

Labor Pains

(Cyrena Pov)

I woke up with a scream when I felt a sharp pain in my stomach. My mates jolted up in bed around me, "What happened?" They asked at the same time, usually that would make me laugh, but not this time. I was about to reply when I felt a rush of liquid come out of me, "Okay, the babies are coming. My water just broke." They both went pale and froze up, making me roll my eyes. "Guys, focus we gotta get Ruby up and head over to the pack hospital. The babies are coming now!" They jumped out of bed and rushed to get dressed, then Zayne went to get Ruby while Zander helped me up and get dressed. We grabbed our overnight bag then drove over to the pack hospital. Seeing as how it only takes ten minutes or so walking we pulled up to the hospital in less than five minutes, Zander parked the car then went around to get Ruby while Zayne helped me out of the car. The second we got up to the check in desk Zayne yelled, "Our mate is having our babies!" The lady sitting behind the desk looked up from her computer and replied, "Okay sir, please try to remain calm we will get you a room now and notify your doctor that you are here. We just need you to fill out this form, but you can fill that out once we get you situated in a room." I was placed into a wheel chair and led into a room, while Zayne went to drop Ruby off at the 24 hour child care center on the second floor. Five minutes later a nurse came in to check my vitals and the babies heart rates, once she had the information she needed she said, "Your Doctor will be with you soon, everything looks good. Just try to focus on your breathing." She left the room just as Zayne came back into the room, he came over to me and held my hand as he asked, "How are you doing love?"

I took a deep breath before replying, "Well it hurts, but all things considered it's not that bad." Zander came over and took my other hand before asking, "Do you need anything?" I thought about it for a second, "Yeah, actually can you call Alicia and Aiden and let them know the babies are coming." He smiled down at me and said, "Of course love, I'll be right back." He left the room after turning to Zayne and saying, "Take care of her brother." Just then a contraction hit, I clenched my teeth and let out a groan while squeezing Zayne's hand. He bent down to my level and started saying supportive stuff into my ear, I couldn't really concentrate on what he was saying though because of the pain. Then just as quickly as it started the pain faded away and I could catch my breath, "Okay, the contraction is over." Zander came back into the room and said, "I called them, they said they would be here soon and that they cant wait to meet the babies." He came over to where I was laying and brushed my hair back from my face before asking, "How are you doing sweetheart?" I sighed and responded, "I'm okay for now, just a bit tired." He bent down and placed a kiss on the top of my head, then said, "It will all be worth it once the babies get here." I smiled, "I know, I can't wait to meet them." There was a knock on the door, then my doctor walked into the room with a smile on her face, "Hello Cyrena, how are we doing?"

I managed a weak smile and said, "I'm okay so far, but I am pretty sure these babies want out." She let out a chuckle and walked over to the bed I was laying in. "I'm just going to check and see how dilated you are." She lifted up the sheet and had me lift my legs so she could check the dilation. "Okay, you are almost there, we are going to move you to the delivery room." She left the room and a few minutes later we were moved over to the delivery room. My contractions started getting closer together and it started to feel like I needed to push. My doctor walked into the room suited up and ready to deliver the babies, four nurses walked into the room behind her to assist with the birth. I opted for a natural birth but I was starting to regret that decision, maybe if I was just having one baby it would have been okay but I have to push out three babies. The doctor got me into position and said, "Okay, Cyrena you are going to have to start pushing now." I grabbed onto each of my mates hands, took a deep breath and pushed as hard as I could, screaming as it felt like I was being split open. "The head is out, I'm going to need you to take a deep breath and then push again." I did as she said, took a deep breath and then pushed like my life depended on it.

I dropped back against the bed as a cry filled the room, "Baby boy A is out and he is looking healthy." My baby was placed against my chest, I looked down at him and tears started to fill my eyes. "He is so handsome, just like his daddies." I looked over at my mates and saw they were crying as well. I felt a now familiar pain and looked over at my doctor and said, "It feels like the other babies want out now." One hour later all three of my baby boys were here, they took the babies to get cleaned up and checked out while I was taken back to my room. A little while later the babies were brought into the room by three nurses, I feel like I can just stare at them for hours and not get bored. I felt my mates come closer to me and looked up at them, Zander smiled at me and asked, "So what are we going to name them?" We discussed it for a few minutes and finally decided on Zion, Zeke and Zev, I wanted to stick to the Z name thing like their daddies. The boys are identical triplets so telling them apart in the future might be slightly difficult, hopefully they don't give us too much trouble. "They all look just like their daddies, the ladies are going to be all over them when they get older." Of course being men they laughed at that, I looked down at my babies and said, "Don't worry boys momma is going to make sure you understand how important your mate is. I am not going to be raising any man whores."

(Zayne Pov)

When Cyrena went into labor I was equal parts terrified and excited at the same time, I was terrified because I hate to see my mate in pain but at the same time she was bringing our children into the world and I love being a dad. Ruby is an amazing girl and she is as much my daughter as the triplets are my sons, but getting to see my sons being brought into the world was an amazing experience. There was a knock on the door and Zander went over and opened the door to see who it was, Alicia and Aiden came into the room followed by Ruby. Alicia ran over to Cyrena and bent down to hug her before turning to look at our babies, sleeping peacefully in their bassinets. "Oh my god, they are gorgeous. You did a great job mommy." Cyrena gave her a tired smile, I know she must be exhausted after giving birth but she also looked really happy. Ruby came closer to see the babies, "They are so tiny." She whispered while looking at her new little brothers in awe. Cyrena laughed and said, "Thank god for that, I don't think I would have been able to get through the birthing process if they were any bigger." Aiden came over and shook me and my brothers hands and congratulated us. We all chatted for a bit and then Alicia and Aiden left to let Cyrena get some rest, they took Ruby to have a sleepover at their house so wouldn't have to worry about her and could focus on Cyrena and the babies. Our gorgeous mate fell asleep shortly after they left, the doctor came back to check on Cyrena a few hours later to see how she was doing. After a quick evaluation she announced Cyrena and the babies would be able to come home tomorrow. After the doctor left the room Cyrena fed the babies then went right back to sleep which was understandable after what she went through. While she slept Zander and I just stared at our sons, Zander smiled and said, "I can't wait until they get a little older and to see what their personalities will be like." I chuckled before replying, "Be careful what you wish for brother, remember what we were like when we were little." I laughed when a horrified look came over his face.

Cyrena woke up from her nap two hours later, she sat up in the hospital bed and her stomach let out a loud growl. Zander laughed and said, "I'll go get you some food love." I went over to where she was sitting and bent down to kiss her, she smiled as I pulled away. "How are you feeling?" She pulled me down to sit next to her on the hospital bed and lay her head against my shoulder, I wrapped my arm around her and pulled her closer. "I'm okay, just a bit tired and hungry but other than that I'm good. How are the boys doing?" I smiled down at her and said, "They are doing great, Zander and I changed them a few times while you were asleep but they went right back to sleep after that." She looked up at me and said, "I love you." I smiled and replied, "I love you too, baby."

Zander came back into the room carrying bags of food, I chuckled and asked, "Do you think you brought enough food brother?" He looked over at me and rolled his eyes, "Our mate just birthed three sons for us and she is hungry." I just shook my head at him as he came over to where we were sitting and handed us each a bag. "I brought more than enough for the three of us." He pulled over a chair and we dug into the food. When we finished eating I helped Cyrena to the bathroom so she could do her business and clean herself up a bit.

She came out of the bathroom and fed the boys again and then they all needed a diaper change so we all picked a baby and got their diapers changed. We put them back into their bassinets and they fell asleep almost instantly, Cyrena went back to the bed to lay down because she was still pretty tired. A few minutes later their was a knock on the door and a couple of nurses came in with a couple of large cots for my brother and I to stay over night with our mate. We thanked them and they quietly left the room so they wouldn't wake up the babies, we set up the cots and lay down because it was getting late and we were getting tired and with three new babies we need to get sleep when we can. I must have been more tired than I had even realized, my eyes started to get droopy and I yawned. I lay my head down and closed my eyes, the cots were actually pretty comfortable and I had no trouble at all falling asleep.

(Zander Pov)

I lay on the cot in the hospital room staring at the ceiling, Cyrena and Zayne are sleeping and although I am tired I just can't seem to fall asleep. Today was a crazy day although I am so happy our sons are here I will admit I was scared during the birthing process, but when they were finally here all that fear vanished and was replaced with love. The boys were sleeping peacefully in their bassinets next to the hospital bed Cyrena was sleeping in, they are very handsome boys and I can't wait to see them grow up into strong men. I don't want them to grow up too fast though, babies are adorable. I know being a father of four isn't going to be a walk in the park, but between Cyrena, my brother and I we should be able to make it work as long as we work as a team. Hopefully our boys won't give us too much trouble, but if they do it will just be punishment for how my brother and I acted when we were kids. I also find myself wondering what their wolves will look like when they come of age. Will they resemble my and my brother's wolves? I guess we are just going to have to wait and see, until then it's nice to imagine. I'm sure they will be beautiful though, or maybe handsome would be the better word to use.

I could feel myself getting more tired and I couldn't help but yawn, I got into a more comfortable position on the cot and pulled one of the thin hospital blankets they provided us over myself. I let out another yawn before closing my eyes, I knew it was going to take awhile to fall asleep but I also know I have to sleep while I can because babies don't always sleep through the night. So I decided to give the old counting sheep thing a try. I got to around sheep number one hundred when I could start to feel my body getting heavier and I fell asleep.
