Carl's Diner

Carl's Diner was a small cozy eatery, the outside was painted white and brown while the inside walls were covered by cream colored wall paper with pink and light blue flowers on it. The tables were polished oak as were the chairs, white lace table cloths were draped over the tables. It was a beautiful diner, we were seated quickly at a table near a window we ordered drinks while deciding what we wanted. Alicia looked around saying, "Wow, this is a really nice diner." I nodded my head agreeing with her while Aiden said, "Yeah it is, I love coming here and the food is really good here too." Just then their waitress came over to take their order, they all decided to go with the traditional breakfast platter. After the waitress left Alicia smiled at me and said, "So Cyrena, Aiden and I were talking last night after you went to sleep and I wanted to ask you how you would feel about me moving in with Aiden."
I smiled, leave it to Alicia to worry about how I would feel, she really is the best friend anyone could ever hope for. I rolled my eyes at her and said, "Dude you met your mate. I pretty much assumed this was coming and I think its a great idea, I mean its not like we were gonna be living together forever eventually we will be having families of our own, don't worry about me I'll be fine." Alicia smiled back at me and replied, "True, besides you never know you might meet your mate soon." A girl could only wish right, I really hope I do get to meet him soon. Aiden joined in the conversation saying, "Its true, he might show up when you least expect it and sweep you off your feet." Alicia laughed before saying, "Lets just hope when you do find him he is man enough to keep up with you." The waitress came back with our food before I could respond, I waited until she walked away before turning to Alicia and asking, "What is that supposed to mean?"
Alicia shrugged and said, "Nothing bad, I just mean that you are a strong woman who doesn't take s**t from anyone, and don't take this the wrong way but almost every time we go out you end up getting into a fight with someone, not saying that they don't deserve it because they do especially those guys last night." I sighed knowing she was absolutely right, I've always been headstrong and quick to anger when some gets on my nerves. Aiden jumped in saying, "Its not a bad thing though, guys like a strong woman plus your fighting skills are better than most guys I've known." I smiled at that, I've worked hard on those skills for years taking as many martial arts classes as I could since I was in high school and it really paid off. We started to eat our food and Aiden was right the food here was amazing, we ate in silence enjoying the food and the relaxed ambiance of the diner. I was the first one to finish eating after I finished I excused myself to go to the restroom.
I walked into the restroom surprised that it was just as clean and beautifully done as the rest of the diner, the walls were off-white and the stalls were a dark brown. The sinks were a mix of marble and granite, I quickly did my business and washed my hands before leaving the restroom, suddenly I bumped into something hard and nearly fell to the ground. Strong arms grabbed onto me to stop me from falling, when his skin came into contact with mine I could feel sparks and I was surrounded by the most amazing smell ever, like pine and sandalwood. I looked up into the most amazing green eyes and my breath caught in my throat when he smiled at me before saying, "Mate, we have finally found you." My heart thumped in my chest, wait did he just say WE? I frowned and he smiled at my confused expression, then he put his arm around my shoulder and said, "Come with me please, you need to meet my brother." I let him lead me to his table still confused about what was going on but enjoying my mate's arm around me.
We walked up to a table with a guy sitting there with his back to us, my mate pulled me behind him putting a finger to his lips indicating he wanted me to stay silent before tapping the guy on the shoulder and saying, "Hey Zander I have to show you something." I heard a sigh and a similar deep voice to my mate's said, "What is it Zayne?" Just then my mate who's name must be Zayne moved bring me into their view and I gasped, I HAVE TWO MATES! not just two mates but identical TWIN mates and boy are they hot! My other mate Zander stood up and pulled me into a hug and all I could smell was citrus and peppermint, they may be identical but their scents are completely different but both amazing. Zander pulled back and looked down at me with a smile and asked, "Whats your name beautiful?"
I blinked a few times before I responded, "My name is Cyrena." Zayne came up behind me and slipped his arms around my waist and said, "Beautiful name for a beautiful woman, it fits you." Zander nodded and said, "I agree." I heard someone clearing their throat next to us and turned in Zayne's arms to see Alicia and Aiden standing there. Alicia raised an eyebrow and asked, "Cyrena what is going on here?" I looked at my best friend and said, "I uh, I found my mates." Alicia squealed and clapped her hands while Aiden said, "Congratulations." Then Alicia did a double take and asked, "Wait a second did you say mates as in multiple, like they are both your mates?" I nodded my head as I said, "Yes, These are my mates Zayne and Zander, mates this is my best friend Alicia and her mate Aiden." They greeted each other then Alicia said, "Damn, twin mates that is just amazing." Aiden put his arm around Alicia before saying, "Well Alicia at least now you know since there are two of them they will be able to keep up with her." Alicia laughed as I crossed my arms and responded, "Not cool Aiden, you are letting Alicia get in your head." Aiden laughed and Alicia rolled her eyes and shook her head.
