“Well, that was fun,” Nick said getting into the driver's seat. “Did you see the look on the girl's face, she wanted to puke right there on my shoes.” he laughed.
“Yeah that was kind of funny, but maybe it will open her eyes and she wouldn't be so blind that not everyone that comes in there is a couple.”
We were two blocks from home when red and blue lights flashed behind him.
“f**k!” Nick growled. “I wasn't speeding either,” he said before pulling over.
I didn’t say anything, I had a bad feeling about this. Was it Detective Marks? I hoped not, but when the police officer came to the passenger side my heart stopped.
