Mason POV
Rowena struggles to run through the forest to my car. Her wolf must still not be cooperating with her. I can hear Tristan chasing after us, and panic rushes through my body. I disobeyed him, and there is no telling what he will do now that he knows I brought a rogue onto pack territory.
I scoop Rowena into my arms and rush her to my waiting car. She is shaking in my arms by the time we finally make it to the car. I fling the car door open and not so gently shove her inside. Then I slide across the hood of my car and get inside. I rev my car's engine and take off toward the back exit of pack territory.
