#GRADUATES

April 19th 2012, Thursday 

All the seniors were seated wearing their graduation outfits. The girls were crying and the guys were some what sad to leave this place that was their home since three years. The entire area you could sense the mixed emotions, happy, sad, nervous, anxious, excitement. 

The principal came on stage first and said "A warm welcome to my students and their families, guardians and well wishers. Today the nastiest batch I've ever seen is graduating. I hope you all know who I'm talking about" The audience started chucking knowing it was those nine he was talking about. 

"This batch was the toughest batch especially since the trustee itself was a student. Let me tell you the first time I saw you all enter the area I was only worried about the juniors. You guys are the nastiest batch so far but also the best. Not taking much of your time I'd like to call upon the stage batch 2012's valedictorian Mannat Shergill. 

All screamed as she came up the stage and took over the mike.

She adjusted the mike before speaking "Good Morning to everyone present today, faculty, families, well wishers and my fellow graduates. It's an honor to be standing up here today. I know we all think that we are immortal, we are suppose to feel that way. We are graduating, but like our brief three years of college, what makes life valuable is that it doesn't last forever. What makes it precious is that it ends, we know that now more than ever, and I say it today of all days to remind us that time is luck.

So don't waste it living some one else's life, make yours count for something. Fight for what matters to you, no matter what, cause even if we fall short what better ways is there to live. Its easy to feel hopeful on a beautiful day like today. but there will be dark days ahead of us too. There will be days where you feel all alone, and that's when hope is needed most. No matter how bad it gets or how lost you feel you must promise me. That you will hold on to hope. Keep it alive.

We have to be greater than what we suffered my wish for you is to become hope. People need that, and even if we fail, what better way is there to live. As we look around here today and all the people who help make us who we are I know it feels like we are saying good bye but we will carry a piece of each other into everything that we do next. To remind us of who we are and who we are meant to be.

I had a great three years with you, I will miss you all very much”

As she finished all got up and screamed. F5 and D3 the loudest.

The faculty one by one called everyone upon the stage to collect their degrees and gifts.

Faculty: Aryan Malhotra.

All screamed especially the girls when he went up the stage Mannat was standing up and squealing happy for her love.

Then soon one by one all their names were called. After the last one was done the principal took over again.

Principal: don't forget now you're going into the world as individuals. I now present to you Silver Creek Academy's 2012's graduating class.

All got up and screamed throwing their caps in the air. All the couples were kissing enjoying their time.

Scarlet: my dear.. she held Mannat tightly in her arms proud of her daughter.

"Mommy" 

Scarlet: I'm proud of you honey and so is everyone else.

"Won't you give this old man a hug honey"

"Daddyyyy" she squealed 

and hopped in his arms as he held her.

Charles: we are proud of you sweetheart.

Meanwhile scarlet was with Aryan feeding him a scoop of ice Cream of Belgium chocolate.

"Mom" 

Scarlet: you did amazing my baby. Have one more bite.

Aryan: mom please seriously you also have.

Scarlet: no honey.. it's your day today.

Saying so she kissed his head and said: ok now hurry up and meet your old man before he starts showing off his dramatic skills. He nodded and both son-in-law and mother-in-law laughed doing a hi-fi when they heard Charles say: I heard that scar!!!

Aryan shook his head and went and hugged Charles who embraced him and said: come here young man. You made me very proud.

"I'm glad I did" He hugged him more tight and then they all had a family hug. Vikrant and Meera came and hugged them both as well and then all together clicked pictures. Aryan was kind of upset since his family weren't there. 

Clarisse: William 

Aryan turned around shocked only to his darling grandma there. He ran and picked her up twirling her in the air while she screamed. He then hugged his brother and sis in law. Meanwhile the rest met their families and then they said a good bye and went to meet their friends to say bye as they were directly leaving for airport after a visit in the industries and meeting the CEO there. They nodded and did their group hugs and Aryan and Mannat left along with their family towards their new beginning. Aryan was going to Copenhagen, Denmark as the rest went along with their families as well. 

At the airport:

"bye sweetheart. I'll be with you soon. Just need to take some weight off grandma's shoulders. Till then you spend some time with Sophie you know how much she has missed you" he said caressing her cheek. 

She nodded and embraced him tightly "I'll miss you Aru" 

"I'll be with you plus we can always FaceTime right" he said trying to convince his girl to go. 

She agreed and so he said again "okay now when you go in there is a gift bag for you. Take care and ya don't worry too much about your queen lessons. You'll have Margaret teaching you and I've told her to take it easy on my love" 

"Take care and tell me everything as it goes by alright. I love you bye Aru" 

He hugged her again and pecked her lips as they both left in different jet planes towards their destinations.
