19 Jake had just dropped the paperwork for his new Jeep — a white Wrangler Rubicon that, while loaded with pretty much everything he could have wanted, still didn’t make his heart sing quite the way the Gladiator had — on the kitchen counter when the doorbell rang. He frowned. While he guessed that Jeremy could have simply decided to drop by, that possibility seemed pretty unlikely.
