As Jake had expected, he found Jeremy in the PC room at the renovated house that was Trident Enterprises’ headquarters. To his relief, he didn’t see Laurel anywhere. It wasn’t that he intended to hide Addie’s disappearance from his cousin, but she’d probably want to ask too many questions, and most likely would figure out quickly enough that his interest in their first “orphan” witch wasn’t exactly professional.
