17. Entry 17

857 Words

Entry 17 I told Diego that we were going on a date, and he agreed. That’s right… I told him. I’ve had enough of this cat and mouse stuff. I really like him, and I want to see if we have the possibility of a future together, even though I don’t see a way for it to work in the long run. I don’t want to get stuck in a long-distance romance where we only get to see each other a couple of times a year, but I also don’t want to fail to explore this undeniable chemistry we have just because we are scared that it might turn into something real. I was feeling brave from my PayDay high when I demanded a date, but now I’m on edge. I suppose the best-case scenario for us both would be to discover that we don’t actually like each other as much as we suspected, but I really don’t want that to happen.
