I’m kind of pissed at Nixie’s husband. I had to track him down to find out about borrowing an outfit from Nixie’s closet for my dinner with Diego’s family.
Shouldn’t a loving husband be at least checking in regularly? His wife is in a coma, and he’s only been here a handful of times. He can’t be that busy at work. What could possibly be more important than being here? I sure hope he isn’t cheating on Nixie, but that’s about the only reason for his absence that I have been able to come up with.
For a long time, I defended him to my parents, but I’m running out of plausible explanations. It’s becoming harder and harder to believe anything except that distinct possibility that he is spending his free time with another woman, while his pregnant wife lies here in a coma. That pig.
