Las VegasB ear didn’t seem to be bothered by the long airplane trip from the East Coast. It cost a wad to find a big enough shipping crate and pay the kennel owner to get the dog on a flight, but Shake thought they could all use a change of venue while he recuperated. It was a terrific reunion at Mike and Linda’s place when they brought Bear home from the airport. He ran wild chasing tumbleweeds for a while and then cautiously dipped his front paws in the pool. After that, he refused to get much more than a couple of feet from Shake or Chan. Shake was sitting near the pool watching Bear romp while the Las Vegas heat soothed his sore bones and muscles.
