CHAPTER FIVECharouth blinked the bright sunlight out of her eyes. What the hell? Seconds ago she traded sharp barbs and accusations with Azazel in the middle of the night. Now she stood on a sandy coastline, dawn snaking its way across the horizon. Rough waves crashed against a nearby group of rocks jutting into the ocean. In the near distance, a small pack of humans stood frozen, varying expressions of disbelief on every face. Oh no. Not this again. A man emerged from the group, heading toward her.
