Chapter 8

We were getting ready to go to the fair, I was bouncing around my room, it's mainly just for closet space and stuff space. I usually sleep with Tyler, in his bed, I just feel more comfortable with him. Tyler walked in, stopping to laugh, doubling over from it. I stopped, blushing and getting off the ottoman, 

He laughed" What're you doing?" 

I said" Just... uh..." 

" Having fun?" I nodded excitedly, smiling," Come'er." I walked to him, kissing his jawline, he leaned down and kissed me before laying his forehead on mine." You look beautiful, my Luna... as always." 

" You look handsome." He smiled and kissed my nose, I squeaked and jumped away from him. He laughed, doubling over again, I pouted and stuck out my tongue. He rushed to me and grabbed my tongue with his teeth, I whined. He let go and wrapped his arms around me, I smiled and nuzzled my face onto his chest. 

" Let's go." I nodded, excitedly, this is gonna be so cool!

Once we got to the fair, I saw paparazzi, I whimpered, Tyler held my hand. 

He asked" Are you ready?" 

I asked" Are you gonna protect me?" 

" Always, Luna." 

" I'm ready." He kissed me, holding my face in his hands gently, he pulled away and leaned his forehead against mine. We stared at each other for a few minutes, then he opened the door and we got out of the car. People surrounded us, I dug into Tyler's side, he tightly wrapped his arm around me. People took pictures, were asking questions about us...

Tyler said" As we agreed, one interview. That's it." He moved us through the ground, I panted softly nuzzling my face against his side. He rubbed my side," It's okay, Just like I said, I'll always protect you." 

We were being interviewed, 

The woman asked" Okay, Mr. Copeland, when is the mating ceremony of the year?" 

Typer answered" We haven't decided yet, sorry." 

" What about you, Ms. Monroe, when do you want to have the ceremony?" 

I answered" Uh... I-I don't know." 

" Alright! Has the alpha marked you yet?"'

" Yes, he has." 

" What about his parents? How do they feel about you?" 

" I-I don't..." 

Tyler said" They love her, already calling her daughter in law. What else would you like to know?" 

She asked" Why did her pack abandon her? What did she do? What did they do? How did no one know of any alpha's children from that pack? They were known for not having an heir, after their first child died at 3 months old from the flu. Is she that child? Are you that child?" I breathed heavily, then pulled away from Tyler, running as fast as I could.

I was sitting against a cart, I felt a small hand on mine, I looked up and saw one of the pups. The others behind him, 

He asked" Can you play with us?" I wiped my face, 

I said" Yeah, yeah, let's go." I stood up, some attached to my hands and fingers, others held onto my shirt, we walked to a play area. We began playing, they were chasing me and tackling me, then we actually played on the play set.

I heard Tyler say" There you are. Are you okay?" I stopped playing with the pups, I put down Rasha, and walked to Tyler. I wrapped my arms around his stomach, he wrapped his arms around me. 

I mumbled" I'm sorry." 

" It's okay, it's not your fault, You did nothing wrong. You got scared, you ran. I understand. Where did you go? I got worried. You didn't have your phone." 

" I just hid behind a cart, then the pups found me and I played with them, it made me feel better." 

" Okay, what do you want to do first? Anything you want." 

" Ferris wheel!" I smiled up at him, giggling, 

" Ferris wheel, it is!" He kissed my hand and led me away, towards the huge Ferris wheel. 

We got on, and started going, I looked out at everything, his arm wrapped around me. I smiled at him, squeaking excitedly, He chuckled and kissed my cheek. I kissed him, I heard his phone snap a photo, I giggled, breaking the kiss. He smiled at me, this was so amazing.

3 hours, and way too many fair foods later, I was being carried by Tyler, he was laughing at me. 

He said" You're gonna be sleeping for at least 2 days, Baby, you've consumed so much fried and sugary foods. Did you have fun?" 

I answered" Yes! So much! Except for the spinning wall ride, you chose that one." 

" Hey, hey, hey, it's a very distinct ride, you either like or you don't." 

" I didn't." 

" Yeah, I know, you hit my shoulder until I got you popcorn." 

" Haha." 

" You won prizes, ate a lot of food, and rode a lot of rides. How exhausted are you?" 

" When can we go to bed?" I smiled at him, 

" As soon as we arrive home." 

" When's that?" 

" After I go meet with my beta, while you go to the food vendor and get whatever you want to take home." I nodded, happily," Go." He put me down, I walked to the vendor, starting to order things.

Once we were home, Tyler was carrying me and the foods, he laid me on the couch and went to put the food away. My eyes fluttered close, and I cuddled into the couch, after a few minutes I was lifted up and carried, 

Tyler whispered" I love you, Baby." He laid me down and I felt him get next to me after a few minutes. 

I muttered" Love you too..."
