Annette turned back to face Zephyr who was trying to bandage his the shoulder and rushed over to help him out. “Thanks for earlier” she said taking the bandage from his hand and urging him to take a sit on the couch which he did. It was a good thing he showed up else that lovely neighbor of hers would be no more. There was a brief silence as he sat down and Annette hurriedly wrapped the bandage and pushed away from him. “If it still hurts I can get you some pain killers” she said. Zephyr shook his head sitting upright on the couch. “It’s fine” he pulled back his shoulder to ease the pain he felt… that was no ordinary bite for sure. Annette placed her hand akimbo staring at him, she tilted her head suddenly realizing that he was supposed to be helping her search for Byron… had he found him
