Victoria led Annette out of the hotel towards the fleet of cars that were lined outside the hotel, she led her towards a black van and some men standing by the van opened the back of the van revealing two long slab-like seats that stood opposite each other. Francis and Jericho were already seated inside along with two mage corps agents. Annette stared into the van and then back at Victoria.
“Are we some form of prisoners?” she asked, this was definitely a prisoner transport van and they even had two agent seated alongside them and two others guarding the entrance.
“Please forgive me if I’m putting up a wrong impression by doing this but this is for your safety as well as ours… The headquarters is to be kept a secret” Victoria noted
“And what about him?” Annette asked pointing at Francis
