Chapter 49 I Wanted to Tell You Something

He Jing was staring at the door and waiting for her lunch today, sitting alone on the seat of the table near the door of the staff canteen of the First People's Hospital.

Many of her colleagues had got their staff meals and almost finished their lunch.

He Jing was lowering her head and grasping her clothes, hesitating for a while and asking, "Are you... free tomorrow?"

"I am free tomorrow. Just read storybooks, cook food and deliver it to you as before..." Lin Hao suddenly thought of something and added, "Oh, I forget that you're off tomorrow, so I need not deliver the food to you."

"Shall we take Xiyan to the amusement park tomorrow, ok?"

"Ok, ok! I agree with daddy!"

Before He Jing responded, the little girl raised her arms and cheered up immediately.

"I am sorry, Xiyan. I need to go back to my home tomorrow." He Jing said in a guilty voice after seeing the happy girl.

As expected, having heard the words of He Jing, the little girl looked disappointed immediately.

"Are you going to go back to your home?" Lin Hao said with his eyes shivering, "That's ok. I can only take the little girl to the amusement park by myself."

Stared at by them, He Jing closed her eyes and said straightly after hesitating for a while, "I want you to go back with me and have a meal with my parents!"

"My parents always ask me to find a boyfriend. They have planned to arrange matchmaking for me since they knew that I was going to go back home this weekend. So I lied to them that... I already had a boyfriend!"

When He Jing felt awkward, Lin Hao suddenly put away the empty meal box of He Jing, and then stood up holding the little hand of Xiyan.

"Ha-ha, ok, no more joking. Since I shall have a meal with uncle and aunty tomorrow, I need to buy some decent clothes for myself and gifts for your parents."

"No, it's ok that you just go back with me."

"Why? I am the son-in-law of your parents, and I need sufficient preparation."
