Throughout the day, the second-round comedians met with established personalities and gave candid interviews around the studio's lot. The host this season, a snarky, cute little lesbian named Tanya Spalding, had also come up through the One Mic Only competition. She'd made it to the very final round, several years back.
Spalding, her light hair cropped short and spiked, sat across from Charleston in a lounge chair. The set was lit brightly, and production people tinkered in the shadows.
