Chapter Nine Charleston entered the nightmare that was real, and he called up the job listing classifieds. Nothing that paid a damn appealed to him, unless he wanted to obtain a truck-driving license or head back to school and start over from square one. Perhaps he could sell used cars to suckers and put a hollow-point bullet through his brain shortly thereafter. Gazing through that bleak digital window into the job market left him despondent.
