Jacks ex said something before she was taken away by the police and Sophie and Jack kept wandering what she meant by she was not the real enemy

What if Jack's ex-girlfriend was actually being blackmailed by someone else? That someone else could have been the one who planted the evidence against Sophie, and they could have been manipulating Maria the whole time. That would mean that there was an even bigger conspiracy at play, and Jack and Sophie would have to uncover the truth before it was too late.

They hired a new private investigator to look into the conspiracy. The PI discovered that the person blackmailing Maria was a mysterious figure known only as "the mastermind." The mastermind had been pulling the strings from the shadows, and they were determined to destroy Jack and Sophie's marriage.

As Jack and as they got closer to uncovering the truth, the mastermind began to threaten their lives. They were followed by mysterious figures, and they started to receive ominous messages. But they refused to give up, and they continued to search for the truth.

Then, one night, they were attacked by a group of masked men. They fought back, but the men overpowered them and took them to a remote location. There, they were confronted by the mastermind, who revealed their true identity: it was someone they knew!

The mastermind told Jack and Sophie that they had been plotting against them for years, and that they were responsible for everything that had happened. Jack and Sophie were shocked and horrified, and they struggled to process what they were hearing.
