Call it an act of God but Annie was actually having a good time. She let Conner twirl her in the middle of the dance floor and laughed out loud as he pulled her back to him. She had warmed up without her jacket but still missed the comfort of long sleeves. She wasn't really a 'strapless dress' kind of person. At least, she thought, her chest was very much filling out the dress. One of the good perks of carrying a baby, she assumed.
Blushing a little, she looked up at Conner, "I'm actually having a great time."
He smiled down at her, shaking long hair from his face as he put his hands on her sides. The music was upbeat but they just ended up rocking back and forth with the tempo, neither really knowing how to dance. He chuckled, "You sound surprised about that."
"A little, yeah."
