Falling to his knees in front of her, Conner brushed his fingers over the small bump under her shirt. He was so happy he could scream. "Do you hear that, baby?" He could feel Annie's eyes on the top of his head as he spoke to her belly. "We're going to be a family. You, me and your mama." He kissed her stomach and then looked up at her from his kneeling position.
