While she sat, her eyes traveled to the friend whom Alan brought with him.
“I wonder who he is……”.
When she thought about going approaching him, she heard a sudden groaning noise coming from the sleeping figure.
“Ah……..”.
She became alarmed. “Is he in pain?”.
She stood up on her feet right away and ran over to his side. But stopped a little away from him.
“I….Ah…..”.
“Is he trying to say something?”.
She approached closer and then bends forward to hear his words.
“I…..”.
“Water…..give me….water…..”.
“I’m thirsty……my throat…..”.
“Water.”
She runs to the kitchen right away to fetch him water. She came back with the glass but then realized that he was not in any condition to drink it by himself.
“What should I do?” she stood there lost in thoughts.
But the groaning noises grew
