Snow After we left the large store, Lance stopped by a sub shop and ordered us some lunch, then he pulled into an empty parking lot, so he could take a nap before getting back on the road. I was still too wound up to sleep, so I sat there in silence and watched the bustling streets of the city. It was such a strange place compared to home, and I didn't think I would ever want to live anywhere near a city. Every now and then, a loud screeching sound would pierce my ears, as different sized vehicles rushed down the road with lights flashing. Not only were they loud and obnoxious, they were also moving at an alarming speed. I found it amazing that Lance could sleep through the noisy chaos.
