Chapter 2

1554 Words
“Why the f**k wasn't she watching the road?” “That's the million dollar question, isn't it, Nancy?” Later that day, Georgina and Hailey had gotten home and were now hosting a friend of Hailey's; Nancy. Nancy was just like Hailey; slutty, loose with words, arrogant and very sassy. They even had the same height and body type, and as you might have guessed, they were both commercial call girls. “She was busy crying over the truths I told her before we left the house.. She's a weak ass b***h, Nancy..” Hailey was sounding as though she was tired of having to deal with Georgina day in, day out. Georgina was sitting obediently in a corner of the room and listening to the two older women as they discussed her and washed her down. “When is she going to start working to earn herself some money?” Nancy said, having the same mentality as her friend. “This was the exact same issue we feuded about today.. She wants to be a full time student, and I won't have that, because I pay her fuckin tuition, I feed her, I clothe her, I also handle her other expenses..” Hailey readjusted herself in her chair before continuing: “I can't keep doing all the giving and hustling while she does nothing but sit down on her big, fat arse and gobble it all down only to wait for me to go out and get some more..” Hailey regularly made reference to Georgina's body because she was jealous of it: she'd always wished she was thick, with big breasts and a succulent ass, but instead she'd gotten nothing but small, perky t**s. Not to mention an almost non existent ass and a bony body. Then Georgina had been the one to get the thick and attractive body type. This was just one of the many reasons for her frequent outbursts on the poor 23 year old. If she hadn't had this body and Georgina hadn't had it either, she'd have been cool with it, but now, Georgina had it and she envied it. “.. And I've told her to go get a freaking job, but she refuses to listen. She says she wants to focus fully on her schooling.. I've told her that it doesn't even matter if she wants to hop into our business and put her body to use, but she still declines.” Hailey finally wrapped up her complaints with, “I don't know what to do with this girl..” Hailey was sounding stressed, as though prostitution was an honorable job that Georgina was rejecting. Nancy laid back on the couch, snacking on some chips while considering what Hailey had said, before saying eventually: “Well, then, it's a really simple matter.. Just stop paying her tuition.. I think you've allowed her to get spoiled. If she no longer has no one working to make sure she stays in school, then she will have no choice but source for money..” Hailey pondered it for a bit as Georgina watched on in horror as this evil adviser was putting forth a suggestion that could end her education process. “Aunt Nancy!!! You can't mean that!” She wailed. “Oh, honey, I mean every word.. You're lazy, Georgina, you don't deserve to have someone striving for you..” Nancy clapped back. “No, I'm not! Being focused and single minded is very different from being lazy. I simply don't want any distractions from schooling and this is why I stay home all day when I have no classes to read or rest..” Georgina could have stopped there but she didn't: “I'm not lazy! You wouldn't be able to handle half of the courses that I handle in school even if you tried!” On hearing her last statement, Nancy and Hailey's eyes bulged. Nancy felt immensely disrespected and Hailey was lost for words. “To your room, you disrespectful ingrate! Now!!” Hailey barked. And Georgina scurried off to her room, shutting the door behind her and throwing herself on a chair by her study table. She hadn't meant to say what she had said, but she knew it was true; Nancy and Hailey could never last a day in her world. Anybody could be a call girl; all the tools had already been provided: a v****a, an ass to grope and t**s. Anybody could spread their legs, anybody could get f****d. But not anybody could devote the mental focus it took to juggle assignments, tests and research whilst having to imbibe discipline, consistency and a strong will to study and study again. The fact of the matter was, although they chose to see her as lazy, Georgina was the real hard worker. Nancy and Hailey had simply taken the easy way out. Armed with this assurance, Georgina strengthened herself and waved Nancy's comments out of her mind. And as soon as she did, thoughts of the gentleman that she'd met earlier that day seeped into her head. As she thought back to his gentle touch, his calm, reassuring and soothing voice, his hot and head turning build, his neatly combed hair and his likable mannerisms, she didn't know when she began to smile. Then, she remembered his name and thought to look it up on the computer that was on her desk: Zayn Jones. He looked important, so he had to be on some article or something on the internet, right? When she typed it into the Google search engine and hit the 'search’ button, she was skeptical and uncertain about what to expect but then she saw a picture that was most definitely him. “He has a Wikipedia biography?” She thought aloud. Then, she began to read up. Full name: Zayn Onroy Jones. Age: 39. He was sixteen years older than her. Woah! Career: Philanthropist, Businessman. Mm.. Interesting. But nothing stunned her like his estimated net worth… $4.5 billion. Georgina was agape and remained so until Hailey came into the room with Nancy. They'd come to tell her that what she'd said to Nancy was inappropriate, disrespectful and bitchy and that she compulsorily had to apologise, only to see her staring unmoved at the computer screen. When they both looked at the screen, the information on it didn't make any sense to Nancy, but Hailey reconciled the photo on the screen with her memory of the face of the man they'd seen earlier that day. So when she saw the net worth, too, she turned, stunned, to Nancy and the only thing she could say was: “Bloody hell.” *** Returning from the meeting, which had thankfully gone well, Zayn Jones was texting some associates while Denis drove in silence until he decided to speak: “Say, sir.. That woman we almost hit, today-” “YOU almost hit her, not ‘me’ or 'we’, Denis,” Zayn interrupted, without looking up. “Very well, sir.. The woman I almost hit today.. You both looked good together, from my perspective.” Hearing his driver say this left Zayn with no choice but to laugh. “You think so, Denis?” “Absolutely, sir. And although I've not seen you with any women, by way of intimate relationships, since I began working with you, I believe you will both be good together.” Denis was about 47 years old, and Zayn treated him more like an older brother or, more appropriately, an uncle and less like a driver. Hence, the man was comfortable enough to speak on such personal matters. Zayn, instead of being offended as some bosses would have been, began to consider it. He had not given love a thought because he had discovered that his past three relationships had been with people who'd not loved him but have loved the things that came with him; money, vacations, cars etc. He had felt attracted to the woman, though, and he'd felt bad when her sister, or whoever was with her, had been hitting her. So maybe, just maybe, Denis was right. “Well, then.. Since it's your idea.. I'll give you a task.. Find out where she lives.. I'd like to go out and grab dinner with her.. Tomorrow or the day after.. Try not to make it seem like I'm ordering her, okay? Just ask her.. Can you do that?” Denis was more than happy to oblige, “You can count on me, captain..” Zayn laughed again, and the ride went silent once more. For a good amount of time on the way until he got home, there was only one name on his mind: Georgina. Until a call came in from the interim chairman at his father's company, Mr Liam. “Hello?” he said as he took it. “Hello, Zayn, something has come up, son.. I'll be coming over to your house tomorrow morning so we can talk about it..” This was a surprise to Zayn. What could have come up? “What's the matter, Mr Liam?” “Don't ask any questions, now, Zayn. You'll know all you need to know tomorrow morning.” And, with that, Mr Liam hung up. Zayn was left confused; what had happened?
