It was a surprising sight for Hailey and Nancy when Georgina came back from school that afternoon, all smiles, with three new, extra large and full shopping bags in her hands, giving them pecks and hugs and singing a sweet tune.
Had the girl gone mad? They thought.
“Why the f**k are you so happy, young lady?” Hailey asked.
“Well,” Georgina naively began, “I was at school today and I was wondering how I'd get home seeing as I had no money on me to take a taxi or even board a train. So while I was wondering, guess who pulled up..?”
Nancy and Hailey looked at one another, confused and wondering who could have pulled up to save the day for the nobody that was Georgina.
“Drake?” Hailey said eventually, having nothing else to say.
Georgina laughed out loud and then said, “No, no, no, silly.. Not Drake.. Zayn Jones’ driver.. In his BMW..”
“And he picked me up from school, driving me all the way down. Then, he took me shopping and I made sure to buy something for you two.. Here..”
She handed one of the gift bags to Hailey, who took it with a look of shock on her face.
Then, Hailey began to unveil the items in the bag:
First was a plus sized perfume bottle which, according to the price tag on it, cost $1,800.
Then, a fairly large silver box. On it was a tag of $50,000. Opening it, Hailey found necklaces, earrings and bracelets.
The next item was two phones, brand new with their packages. They were the latest Samsung smartphones. They cost a total of $2,900.
Nancy and Hailey were lost for words, but Georgina had more with which to stun them:
“And.. His driver said we have a date tonight, so I'll have to go prepare because he's going to come pick me up..”
Nancy swallowed hard and Hailey couldn't believe her ears. She, however, managed to ask:
“Wh- what did he get you, then? If you got us this expensive s**t?”
“Oh, I only needed a new laptop, a new phone and a few books.. But he said his boss would kill him if he found out that these were the only things he got me, so he went out of his way..”
“I've got so much clothes, jewelry and accessories now that I don't think I'd be able to use them even till the year runs out.. He also gave me some money.. So, now sis, I will be less of a burden to you.. That's good, right?”
Hailey didn't know how to respond.
“Well, yeah.. I guess..” she managed to say after a few moments of silence.
“I know it's surprising, Hailey, I mean, I can't believe it, myself.. But it's happening.. Anyway, I have to go get prepared for the date..”
And with this, Georgina skipped away happily, leaving Hailey and Nancy stunned.
Just that morning, Georgina had left the house on an empty stomach because Hailey had intentionally not made any food available, and now, by 2pm at noon, the same girl was returning with gifts worth over $50,000 for her and Nancy.
Not to talk of the gifts she'd received for herself; both in cash and items.
How quickly the tables had turned.

Later that night, Georgina was on her way to the restaurant where the date between her and Zayn was to be held.
She was being driven by Denis and she was in a red gown which she'd selected after going over her wardrobe repeatedly and frantically in search of a befitting attire.
She'd tied her hair in a bun above her head, and its shiny dark color was complementing her gown. She'd decided against wearing heels and had gone with a pair of flat shoes instead.
She had a purse in her hand which contained some money she'd brought with her in case the need arose, the move of a woman who didn't want to leave things to chance, a lipstick and her ID which she always took everywhere.
“I'm nervous, Denis.. What do I expect? What's he like?” She asked a few minutes after settling in the car.
Denis smiled and replied, “The funny thing is, he asked me this exact question about you before I dropped him off at the restaurant.. He's also slightly nervous..”
“Really? He did?” Georgina was surprised at how much in sync she already was with Zayn Jones, despite not knowing him too well, “Well, what did you tell him?”
“The same thing I'll tell you.. My impression and opinion doesn't count. It's up to you to find out and see for yourself. It only takes one conversation for a person to know if they would like to be with someone else or not.”
“This is the chance for you both to feel out each other. If there's something between you that's worth building on, you'll both feel it.. So my advice is just to relax and enjoy it. Be yourself..”
Denis was already coming off to her as a wise, fun person to have around. She smiled and then said:
“Thank you, Denis.. I haven't known you for even a week but you've been so much help already.”
Denis smiled, nodded and focused on his driving and she busied herself with her own thoughts.
After about six more minutes, they arrived at the restaurant.
Denis parked the car behind another one, which Georgina guessed to be the entourage. Then, he came out and opened her door for her to step out.
Having been used to getting treated like s**t by Hailey and Nancy, this queenly regard of her by Denis was very thrilling.
She stepped into the restaurant, with Denis by her side, and was glad to see other people dining there.
She had been worried that Zayn Jones would be the kind of selfish billionaire to rent out an entire restaurant, depriving others of the experience and forcing them to cancel their plans, just because he wanted to have dinner.
As she walked towards Zayn where he was seated, perusing the menu and discussing with the waiter, Georgina felt like someone somewhere was doing a drumroll. Tension!
She tried her best to walk normally and not take on an embarrassing gait.
Finally, she was before him. He still didn't realize it, immersed in a conversation with the waiter about the menu. Denis was the one who had to inform him that she was there..
“Sir.. Georgina is here..”
And when Zayn looked up at her, his expression went from a bland and regular surprise to a pleasant one.
He flashed a million dollar smile, revealing his glowing white teeth that looked like he sent his entire dental set to a laundry every weekend, and then he said:
“Hey, Georgina.. Nice to see you again.. Please have a seat..”
“Thank you,” she said, unable to stop herself from blushing as she took a seat opposite him. She was sure that her cheeks were redder than blood. Damn.
“Okay, Georgina.. I and this good man here, the waiter, were bantering about what would be best for you to drink..”
“I suggested Hennessy, but he insists that they have a fine stock of Budweiser over here.. So, which would you prefer?”
Georgina smiled gently before politely replying, “Thank you, but neither.. I'll take something non alcoholic, anything.. But if there's none, water would be fine..”
At this, Zayn, Denis and the waiter smiled at each other, leaving Georgina slightly confused.
Then, Zayn put his hand in his pocket and pulled out a wallet. Then he proceeded to pull out two hundred dollar bills, handing one each to the waiter and Denis, saying, “You win.. You win.”
Georgina was now very confused. “Wh- what's going on?”

The entire day had gone sour for Nancy and Hailey, seeing that Georgina had casually stumbled into luxury and a relationship with a billionaire, after not even working for it.
They, however, who had traded their bodies and done despicable things just to finally be financially free, had gotten nothing but disappointment.
They were both seated in the living room, back at home, puffing on cigarettes, dressed in shorts and basketball jersey tops, pissed off to the core.
“You know.. We could actually be better off going off to work tonight,” Nancy said, well aware that her friend was feeling like a bum.
Hailey scoffed before answering, “Why? So that some hairy, smelly and horny truck driver who's been stressed all month long could stick his plus sized, veiny c**k into my p***y and pound crap me for a little over two hundred dollars?”
“And, I'll be getting plowed for next to nothing while that lazy ass b***h, Georgina, goes on a date with a billionaire, eating fine and dainty food? No, Nancy, I don't think so..”
The bitterness in Hailey's voice was evident, as though Georgina was the reason she had failed so far in her pursuit for wealth, or as though Georgina was the one who'd controlled their fates and had given her an unfortunate one..
“And,” Hailey continued after a long drag and puff, “She'll definitely be a good girl to him.. Let him hit it a couple of times and before you know it, boom..”
“Georgina would come and say, with that usual stupid smile on her face and excitement in her voice, that she's gotten an apartment of her own and would be moving out.”
“Then, the very next week, she'll come to visit in her car, and we'd still be here, fuckin truck drivers? No, Nancy.. I don't fuckin think so..”
“Well, what do you want?” Nancy asked, tired of Hailey's whining, moaning and bitching.
“I want that life! The life she's about to cruise into! I want it! I deserve it! I've worked for it! She hasn't! She's been privileged and spoon-fed all her life and she should rot! Not enjoying everything or anything good! Why always her? I want that life!”
Hailey's outburst stunned Nancy. It was so bad that she was actually crying out of sheer bitterness.
Nancy, seeing how badly her friend wanted this, said:
“And you will have it, Hailey..”
“How? She's already on her way-” Hailey tried to protest.
“-You will have it.. Know this and know peace.. As for the 'how’, leave that to me.. She's done the hard part of discovering this rich, handsome man.. Now, you and I, we will take him from her..”
