Calvin’s Point of view
I arrived at the funeral house with Lauren, she insisted that she would come with me so I didn’t object to it and gladly asked her to come with me. But as soon as we got to the house, she looked a little protective was looking around like she was trying to stop me from meeting someone.
“I will go and meet a few people; I will be back okay?” I said to her as she chatted with a few people and Claire, “Doctor, how are you? I am so sorry for your loss” I said to her as I hugged her, she looked so broken by the news.
“Thank you so much, I am fine and trying to be strong,” she said to me as I nodded my head, she looked like she was worried too much.
