"Daddy," Rumi's cute voice came through. She was seated on her father's lap behind his desk.
"Yes, my love," Damien answered, his eyes not leaving the laptop before him.
"Why do you have a frown on you?"
Damien turned his eyes away from the laptop, facing his daughter.
"Why do you ask that?"
"You've got a frown on your forehead. Are you sad?"
Damien shook his head. "No, I'm not, baby."
"I just got carried away with work. Why did you say so?"
"Because you refused to play with me. You've been staring at your laptop all through."
Damien sighed. "I'm sorry." He leaned closer to Rumi and kissed her forehead. "Are you excited to go for your doctor's appointment?"
Rumi shook her head, making her bangs fall over her eyes.
