Velhimar bulbs have taken root in all four grow boxes and have produced shoots approximately 3 cm tall. Again, we see that each growth pattern is identical to the control, regardless of the bulbs’ placements in the soil.
Box 1 (control): Bulb pattern: quincunx. Result: quincunx.
Box 2: Bulb pattern: pentagram. Result: quincunx.
Box 3: Bulb pattern: row. Result: quincunx.
Box 4: Bulb pattern: circle. Result: quincunx.
Note, the bulbs themselves do not change their placement beneath the soil. Their shoots work their way horizontally beneath the surface until they reach their appropriate position within the quincunx before breaking the surface.
