"You know, I have to say, this labour business is pretty easy," Piper said smugly from the sofa in our apartment. "If this is all it's about, then I think we should have at least 10 pups!"
Piper had been in the early stages of labour for about an hour. I'd tried to tell her tactfully that labour took a long time and that she probably wouldn't feel that great the whole way through, but she waved me off, not believing a single word I said.
